4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Pershing (295) - Garland, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Pours Medium Brown in the Brewery’s Trappist glass with a short lasting tan head. Aroma of Spice with a smooth well balanced texture on the palate also of spice with a little hop bitterness. Not too feeling and well crafted. Dry lasting finish. Might be the best Dubbel ever created.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Mdsurveyor (37) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - MAY 30, 2012
The pour is a hazy amber with a thick beige head and a fine stream of bubbles. The scent is floral and fruit, perhaps a hint of dark fruit. The taste is earthy with a battle between sweet and tart the end with a sharp rush of carbonation. The after note is a lingering bitterness. An interesting style and quite drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jnkor (40) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2012
Aroma at first reminded me of green apple, floral and sweet but has an unfortunate yeasty edge. Color is light, as is the flavor. Bitter. Carbonation creates an almost harsh feel.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beerenberger (188) - Fischer, Texas, USA - MAY 26, 2012
A- this beer is a deep translucent reddish-brown with a beautiful beige head and mild lacing. N- The fragrance is dried dark fruit and candy. T- The taste is sweet malts up front, cereal in the middle and a crisp slightly bitter finish. MF- It is medium bodied with a nice balance of effervence and a slickly feel. Overall- A wonderful beer. I would buy it again.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Jayseppi (58) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 26, 2012
Deep brown colour that gives of dried fruit aromas and extremely light nutiness. Flavour follows aroma and finishes cleanly. Slick mouth feel.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 aleph (193) - - MAY 24, 2012
Bottle in goblet. Dark brown with creamy off-white/light beige head. Almost soapy on the nose, with sugars and dark fruits rounding it out. Woody and spicy, in addition, in the taste. Nicely bodied, carbonation perhaps thins it out on the palate a bit too much.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 ringil (2) - New York, USA - MAY 20, 2012 does not count
The appearance is a deep mahogany with a thin but fluffy carpet of head that remains through through the entire glass leaving nice lacing. The aroma is raisins, plum, spices, and a bit of alcohol. The mouthfeel is rich and smooth. The taste is an interplay of dry raisin, woodiness, spices, and some astringency holding the flavors together into a tight profile. This is one of my favorites.
