This one is fantastic. I had it once and I was really looking forward to having it again. It introduced Schwarzbier to me. It pours black or dark brown and smooth with a faint brown tint and a beige quick disappearing foamy lacy head. Smells great. Roasted malt which comes with coffee and caramel then moves to a fruity backberry with cherries and dried frutis like raisins and some general malty sweetness with spices. Sweet. Smooth body with medium carbonation. Starts with a caramel malt and liquorish herbal, roasted malt, with a soft rost dry hop finish. Smooth to drink. Bold taste and sweet malt in the end the coffee roast lingers in the mouth. It gives a new meaning to lagar. Should be more like it. Excellent.

Pours a dark brown, almost black with some ruby shining through it when it is held up to a light. There is a small tan head that left some lacing around the glass. The aroma is brown bread and roasted barley malts. The taste is roasted barley, some faint notes of chocolate, and sweetness to it. The mouthfeel is smooth and drinkability is high.
