Comes across the palate as apple, and pear notes; very malty. Sweet tasting. Medium bodied. Tart finish. Very drinkable. Very enjoyable. I could sip this for day.

Wow, this one took my by surprise. I’ve had tart lychee, and while I like it, it’s barely a sour, very mild. So I didn’t expect much here and BAM! it’s a full mouthfeel puckerer that rocks. Balls our sour, I with they bottled this straight away, and DIDN’T PASTEURIZE IT so it would continue to evolve.

Sampled at Churchkey during CBC week. Pours a hazy orange with some hazy white head. Nose is slightly sour, lemon, grapefruit, some vinous notes. Flavor of white grapes, lemons, grapefruit. Medium bodied, tart finish.

A rather clean and spritzy sour ale, redolent of tea flavored with sour oranges and grapefruit juice, jazzed up with seltzer. A reminder that sourness and depth have different axes.

Draft. Small white head atop cloudy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, Brett/cherry, some lemon, light funk. Taste is medium sweet, lemon, some funk, light sour cherry. Medium body, some acidity, low carbonation, light stickiness.

The beer is orange and pretty hazy with a soft white head. The aroma offers an assortment of fruits, to include peaches, apples, white grapes, lemons. Beautiful blend of citrus flavors. Nectarines and tangerines are very forward in the flavor. Very subtle tartness. A hint of oak. The beer is fairly sweet, but nowhere near cloying. More like a natural, fruity sweetness. Medium bodied with lingering citrus on the palate. A really tasty beer.

On tap at Smoke & Barrel. Peach and moderate acidity. Mostly lactic. Just a touch of oak in the background. Light with fairly-low carbonation.

Tap at Churchkey. Pours a low haze lighter peach pour. Weak head. Nose is funky, fresh cantaloupe, mild white vinegar, small candies and sweet white grape juice. Taste is tart but very bland, not much substance. It is mouth watering, salty, clean but overall just very light on peach and mango flavors. Palate is sparkling, minerally, refreshing.

Orange pour with water clear head.. Aroma of sour cherries. Very tart fruity flavor with a bit of earthiness. Medium to light bodied a pretty good beer.

Appearance: Fogged, darkish orange-gold body with a few stray bubbles comprised a loose head.
Smell: Bready, pale malts, moderate oakiness, mild funkiness, and a tartish whiff of cranberry citrus chutney.
Taste: Modestly bready, meager pale malts with essentially no appreciable sweetness. Some citrus. Has a tartness and crackling acidity like munching on a cranberry, forcing a Joker-like grin. Light funk. Pinch of table salt. Balanced oak qualities. Long, dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Near nil carbonation.
Overall: Sufficient!
