COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

The best beer in the world deserves an incredible rating. And this beer is your mother’s milk in a bottle. This is fermented sex and crack mixed together with some candi sugar. When I was in Bruges I ordered this beer immediately after the westvleteren 12 for comparison, and I can confidently say that this beer (rochefort 10) is noticeably better. Mostly because this beer has more flavour than any other available on the market. The aroma is decadent chocolate with caramelized Christmas fruits. The taste is pure fornication immersed in brown sugar and plum. I was always taught that if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. From now on I’ll only ever talk about rochefort 10. It’s a safe bet, because no-one could have anything bad to say about this beer.

Dark colour. Complex beer, sweet, raisins, dark fruits and some alcohol. A brilliant beer.

Brown sugar aroma, dark grapes, plums. Tawny like a port., and just a little sour. Cola, vanilla, cinnamon spice, cherrywood, maple. Unbelievably complex. Appearance is cola: caramel-brown (darkly so). Long lasting finger of head. Flavor is plums, sour raisins, and again, tawny port. Toasted mocha, wood, tar and charcoal. Lots of horseblanket yeast too, fittingly so. Feels like a port wine, but chalkier. Wow: what a remarkable beer. Absolutely world class. I’m not breaking any news here, but this is one of the best beers I’ve ever had.

Bottle. Chestnut brown with a tan head. Extremely inviting fruit malt nose. Festive candy fruit on the taste. Brilliant flavour. Plum n’ awe that. Invigorates the palate with its complexity. Sweet clean finish. A real pleasure.

330 ml bottle pours a nice dark mahogany with a small off white head. Smell is of dark fruits, alcohol, and yeast. Huge complexity in the flavor. Very sweet but there is a tinge of bitterness at the end to keep I in check. There’s also a warming sensation from the high alcohol content which I enjoyed. The palate is silky smooth with perfect carbonation. Can’t believe I’ve waited so long to try this. Phenomenal.

Caramel, raisin, fruity ,alcohol, honey, herbs. Starts very fruity sweet goes bit sour with hints of wood full body taste, finish taste of herbs light bitter sweet at the end. Stays fresh, I prefer a stronger finish.

Pours dark brown almost black with a large off white head. Nose is over ripe dark fruits. Raisins, plums and fresh baked pastries taste is sweet mostly but a good amount of bitter brings it down a notch. Mouthfeel is creamy and soft. Aftertaste is huge and makes this a slow sipper. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
