COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide’s Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti’s hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

0,355l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Clear deep reddish black color with beautiful dark brown creamy and thick head. The odor is unbelivable, I feel the aroma and the taste of a chokolate cake in my nose... Dark chocolate, sweet cocoa, creamy like the chocolate cream in the cake, some coffee also appears. In the aroma the hops appears. This beer is hopped perfectly, the herbs, the grass and the soft spices are in perfect harmony with the chocolate, cocoa, coffee. Strong, intensive taste, which is very well-balanced. The heavy sweetness fight with the heavy bitterness, but one cannot overpower the other. Full body with oily-creamy texture and soft carbonation. It caresses my tongue. In spite of the rich aroma and taste, it’s very drinkable. Long sweet chocolate finish with a little bitterness and smoke. Intereting dense oily liquidity. It’s a very special beer, it reminds me on a delicious chocolate cake which is creamy because of the butter, and contains the finest dark chocolate...

Bottle BBE 02/14. Black pour, no head but some brown bubbles form on top. Smells yeasty and of American hops. Taste is mainly barley, some coffee, oily hoppiness. Mid-bodied. Bitter finish. Quite good.

What an amazing imperial stout, the very best I have had so far. Decadent aroma and taste of cocoa, espresso, vanilla, and malty goodness. This pitch black brew is the perfect combination of malts and hops. Simply amazing!!

Pours ink black with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roast with a slight hop bite. Taste is exactly like the nose with a bitter finish. Nice.

Really great stout. Nice espresso and oaky flavors. Toasty and sweet. Maybe a little too sweet. Otherwise wonderful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lovely aroma of heavily roasted malts, cigar box and leather. Intense roasty flavour with notes of strong coffee, dark bitter chocolate and English liquorice. Brilliant stuff!

Pours an opaque black with small khaki head and decent lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate with a hint of smokiness. Taste is of those roasted malts and dark chocolate with burnt brown sugar and a piney and bittersweet finish. Full bodied with viscous mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Above average imperial stout that hits all the marks and is well put together.

Pours black with a small head, 330ml bottle. Thick chocolate, coffee, oatmeal upfront in the aroma, becomes roasty and then follows the pine & citrus hop onslaught with a long bitter finish. Complex, but holds everything together nicely with a bit of alcohol warmth. Lovely.

Pours pitch black with a cinnamon colored head that disappears quickly. Smells of dark chocolate and espresso, and tastes about the same. Solid from start to finish.

A surreal aroma draws you in that primarily consists of chocolate. The pour is straight black without much of a head and very little lacing. The taste quickly makes you forget that the beer isn’t all that pretty. It’s chocolate heaven for the first 2/3 of taste and finishes a touch roasty which balances the beer beautifully! The medium body makes the beer very drinkable at 9.5% and that’s magnificent! Great stuff!
