COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Pours copper/orange with fluffy off white head. Aroma is orange peel, peaches, pine, and soap. Taste is caramel maltiness with some pine and orange. A fair amount of residual sweetness in this one with a boozy bitter finish. Pretty decent but not one of my favorites.

Bottle. BBE Jun 2012. Pours a hazy medium to bright orange. Off white head, dissipates to a decent covering, nice lacing all the way down. Aroma is really good, piney, pineapple, mango, burnt sugar caramel sweetness. Big bitterness up front, rolling sweetness, pineapple, mango, hint of grapefruit juice. Sweet caramel, dry, bitter finish. A hop bomb...maybe so, but also malty sweetness balances it out, bordering on taking over. Although I suspect my bottle could be fresher

36cl, American brew, from De Bierkoning Amsterdam, complex brew, malty/bitter and slightly fruity/sweet, yet not balanced, clear, small head, nice brew

Bottle. Pours a very nice golden color. I notice a caramel aroma and very hoppy. It tastes like hops and pine, and is also very smooth. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Another solid effort from GD. Pours a hazy orange with a soapy head. Aromas of pine, citrus, and some grassy hops. Very mild for an IPA and a huge malt presence. Very well balanced and the alcohol is very well hidden. Overall a superb offering.

Bottle at The Rover. Clear golden/light red, white small head with a nice lacing. Passionfruit, pine, resin and citrus. Not as bitter as expected, light/medium body and medium carbonation.

Poured a cloudy golden with a full head. Aroma of citrus and bread, full on the palate, smooth with a good balance sweet malts and bitter hops. Delicious IPA and not as bitter as I expected.

Bottle. Caramelly aroma. Clear white head. Tastes caramelly, resin, slightly floral. Average carb, nice beer. Well balanced. Nice long bitter finish.
