4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
St. Bernardus Tripel has a fizzy, ginger ale-type, white head and a hazy, golden-orange appearance, with lots of champagne fizziness and a plethora of suspended brownish-gray particles floating about. The aroma is of spicy bread, fruit, and sugar candy. Taste is of spicy fruit cake, bread, raisin, malt, and a lot of other stuff I can’t pinpoint. Bitterness is low with this one. The mouthfeel is tingly and medium, and St. Bernardus Tripel finishes mostly dry, tasty, and highly drinkable, which could get a drinker into trouble. Overall, it lives up to its reputation. RJT

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 0,33L. Slightly hazy, golden color with average big, creamy, white head. Aroma of plum brandy, alcohol, a touch of spice, herbs and grass. Taste starts light sweet with a note of ripe fruits. Finish goes somewhere between light bitter and light acidic. Suprisingly easy to drink for the beer with 8% ABV.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Golden color with extremely fast rising carbonation and tiny bubbles forming into a well formed white foamy head. Aroma is exquisitely spicy with loads of coriander, also detecting some vanilla aromas. The mouthfeel is very light for the amount of alcohol in this masterpiece. I feel like this is right there with Chimay Blanche, maybe a touch less refined, but it is world class all the same.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Triple belge de base.
Nez plein de levures, fond assez floral.
Bouche assez ronde, assez sucrée (un peu trop). Encore une fois pas mal de levures qui peuvent être éc?urantes avec le sucre. Fond de pêche, assez agréable.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a cloudy yellow that quickly clears up, white head. Aroma of wheat and spices. Medium bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. Taste is slightly dry and moderately bitter with a sweet finish. Felt suprisingly light for an 8% beer.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours slightly hazy golden with finger of white foam. Aromas of bread, apples, banana, and sugar. Flavors follow the nose, with a nice bready sweetness of malt and candi dominating amongst ripened fruit. Sometimes this style goes a little sour for me... not this one. Clean finish with a slightly sweet yeasty finish. Very smooth despite high carbonation. Good stuff

St. Bernardus brews craft beers that are very easy for everyone to like and this is no exception. One of the most overlooked tripels.

Spices, fruits (citrus and banana), amber and frothy, medium sweetness, medium body, average carbonation, the alcohol is magnificently hidden...a good drink.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Droge triple. Licht zoet, ietwat hoppige afdronk. Ik vind hem niet zo goed zoals iedereen hem vindt, maar het is geen slechte triple. Beetje standaard eerlijk gezegd.
