COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, with high fermentation, has a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour (8% alcohol content). This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

St. Bernardus Tripel has a fizzy, ginger ale-type, white head and a hazy, golden-orange appearance, with lots of champagne fizziness and a plethora of suspended brownish-gray particles floating about. The aroma is of spicy bread, fruit, and sugar candy. Taste is of spicy fruit cake, bread, raisin, malt, and a lot of other stuff I can’t pinpoint. Bitterness is low with this one. The mouthfeel is tingly and medium, and St. Bernardus Tripel finishes mostly dry, tasty, and highly drinkable, which could get a drinker into trouble. Overall, it lives up to its reputation. RJT

Bottle. Hazy golden with thin medium white head. Beautiful beer. Very fresh and sour aroma. Taste has a citrus/fruity beginning, and the aftertaste is medium bitter with a hint of alchohol. Fine medium body. I’m not af fan of the aftertaste in this beer, too much alchohol.

Very nice triple. Looks slightly muddy, but it’s delicious otherwise. Yeasty. Tropical fruits, peaches, vanilla, slight spicy note in the background, banana. Full-bodied.

Saint Bernardus.

Pours hazy dark amber with a stream of bubbles and a thick white head leaving lacing in the glass. Sweet pear and medicinal aromas. Starts off sweet and fruity and follows up with spicy dry hops fading into a nice dry bite. Little alcohol heat. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Exceptionally balanced and drinkable..

330ml bottle. Pours hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma of fruits, yeats, spices, malts. Light body with average carbonation. Taste is light sweet, light bitter with some acidity and dry finish. Surprisingly light for a style.
