Outstanding Premium Ale.
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties in the brew."

50cl bottle. Pours copper colour with thin white head. Caramel malt & earthy British hops in the aroma, few raisin notes too. Flavour is decently bitter, lots of dark malt, slight tangy hop complexity too. Prefer it on cask, but the bottled version is very pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Orange-gold, thin creamy-foam head. Very English hop aroma, with a bit of caramel. Bitter toffee flavours with some balanced hoppiness. Nice and refreshing.

Good, off-white, dense and fine head over clear, golden-amber beer, looking dead. Caramel and a hint of butterscotch, rainwater. Lots of diacetyl, caramel, and even hints at toffee. Tastes dead too. Light, dull, but oily-slick, with an impression of artificial carbonation. Not a patch on Fullers’ cask offerings. I might sound like a CAMRA die-hard, but it’s as it is!

A very good classic beer that really defines the style. It looks very crisp and clear. The taste is malty with a nice english hop finish. A beer that I can enjoy on a hot summer day.

Smells of English hops, slight orange haze, biscuits. Clear beer, with dissipating white head. Taste is more English hops, bitterness, some caramel and honey flavors. Very thin mouthfeel Finishes bitter, and somewhat like a cheap lager. This wouldn’t be a bad session beer, but the price seems to be out of the range. I could drink a lot of these. Likeability 3.5/5.

Several 25cl cans on Easyjet flights recently. Pours dark amber with decent head. The nose is chocolate biscuits and sultanas. The taste has more of this fruit ’n’ nut bar thing going on. The palate is at least medium bodied and creamily textured with a nice clean finish. Overall, what a cracking beer to have on an aeroplane. I’d be happier to drink this all day or on a longer Easyjet flight.

Poured from a bottle into a goblet. Appearance is light copper with a thin white head. Aroma reminds me faintly of unpleasant cherries. Taste is an oddly awful light cherry. This beer is miserable. I can’t even finish the bottle I have. Thankfully its just a one bottle purchase.
