This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

Pours a dense golden orange with a lingering white head and some lacing. Has a very fruity nose. Apricots, banana, pineapple. Lots of herbal and spicey notes and belgian yeast. Very enticing. Taste has quite a bit of belgian yeast and spice. Coriander & clove. Some fruitiness as described in the aroma and honey for a welcome sweetness and an underlying hop presence all makes for a well balanced and exceptional tasting beer. Medium to full body with a long dry finish with just a bit of both the sweetness and hop bitterness carrying through. Smooth with the perfect carbonation and plenty of warming alcohol. Really enjoying sipping on this one.

Pours cloudy blond with a bit of head. Smells initially like a German hefe then gives way as it warms up to a bazooka bubble gum aroma. Taste is soft and pleasant on carbonation. There’s plenty of good florals involved in this operation and even a little hay, citrus and banana. Bottle from City market Onion co-op in Burlington.

In the glass it’s cloudy with an apple juice color, and it pours with a gigantic head that hangs around forever like a mound of slowly melting ice-cream and laces down the sides of the glass until the last sip. The aroma is a bit subdued, but alcohol and fruit is present along with grassy hops. The label says that I’d detect passion fruit in the flavor, but I don’t know from passion fruit. I did pick up on apples and apricots and dry, clean malts. Kinda dry, kinda crisp. I liked it.

Pours a cloudy vibrant yellow color with aroma of passion fruit and honey. Taste is slightly sweet but with a fruity mashed banana taste. Overall a decnt tasting beer that hides the 9% alcohol content well. A decent beer for the style.

Bottle 750 ml. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is peppery (green pepper) with notes of green apple, mango and slight brettanomyce. Taste is peppery and malty with a bunch of other spices and a slight bitter end. Body is medium to full with a pleasant warming alcohol. Very good, complex and well balanced tripel.

12oz bottle poured into a trappist glass with a golden yellow and a medium white slowly dissipating head. Aroma of sweet spicy fruity notes, some ripe apple, Belgian yeast, light biscuit malt and sweet alcohol esters fill the senses. Taste is Belgian yeast, light biscuit malt, light banana, spicy fruity notes, with some spicy hops bitterness. palate is a medium body, crisp with very nice carbonation. Finishes with some sweet spicy fruity notes, Belgian yeast, with some nice spicy hops for balance, ending is a slightly dry finish with a bit of lingering nutty notes. Overall a very good, well balanced, flavorful and tasty brew, an all around solid tripel.

As i pour this beer i notice its cloudy/hazy golden yellow color. I smell this brew and smell the yeast not so much the passion fruit or the herbal notes or honey as the label sugests. However the taste is not only smooth and sweet, i guess one can say a fruity taste with a medium body. A taste of alcohol on the mid/back of your tounge leaving an aftertaste of honey. Over all not a bad brew worth a buy and rebuy.

Pours honey golden with a tower frothy head. Aroma suggests tropical fruits and honey, with a hint of grainns and yeast. The hop taste is a bit overstated for a tripel. Beneath that, a balance mix of light pilsner malts, soft tropical fruity esters, and a touch of light medicinal esters, like from clover honey fermentation, balance everything out nicely. Palate feel is pretty dry and heavily carbonated with a hoppy finish accompanied by some malty sweetness. A nice American take on a classic style.
