UPDATED: JUL 19, 2009 I think this may be the best IPA I have ever had, in fact this is what launched me into an IPA frenzy this year. Sweet sweet hops and spice, what an IPA should be.

Don’t remember this being to extreme of an IPA, so it’s surprising to be hit with that hard grapefruit and resin of the west coast stuff. Mine is light orange with some odd suspension (best by 7/12) The bitterness is fairly unrelenting, although a greater malt component would have dampened this quite a bit. One of the region’s better IPAs

Pours an orange gold with a moderately sized head and yeasty bits floating around. Aroma of pine and citrus. Taste is oranges mixed with bitter grapefruit. The bitterness lingers and the finish is relatively crisp.

12oz bottle from Discount Liquor Milwaukee. Pours a yellow-amber color with a light haze and a big white head with lots of lacing. No floaties on this one. Aroma is hoppy, citrus and pine. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is bitter, hoppy, pine, citrus, with a pine hop finish. Very Tasty.

Decent enough beer. Pours with lots of floaty bits and quite cloudy. Some lacing. Mostly grassy and pine-y hops with almost no sweetness apparent. Finish is medium long bitter. Medium to light body with lots of carbonation. Ok beer, but nothing remarkable.

Screw these jokers for using an alias...fuckers. pours clear gold with a thin white head...good lacing and retention. Aroma has grassy/spicy hops over pils malt...hay. flavor is grassy and piney with mild hop spice...light maltiness. Mouthfeel is full and the finish is bitter and dry. Finest kind my ass.

Poured a golden amber with what I perceived as more of a malt aroma than hops. A very solid IPA, with aggressive citrusy, grapefruit hop flavor. Good balance. Finished bitter, definitely a hop lovers "go-to" beer.

My favorite IPA. A lot of flavor with a lot of hop. A strong IPA for IPA lovers.

Hoppy IPA but not a total hop bomb. Grassy, citrus and pine present in the hops. Malt balances nicely. Aroma a bit odd, perhaps old bottle? Serving: Bottle
