Bouteille 750 ml. Arôme d jus de pomme acidulé, de barnyard, de houblon. Fruité en bouche, bonne acidité. Excellent équilibre, rafraîchissante. Une bien bonne gueuze.

Draught @ GCB: Very interesting and deep gueze with a more approachable palette than most I’ve had.

Shiny golden body and no head (after a fizzy few seconds). Bit of herbal hops, fruity sourness, not overly complex. Light sweet, fuller sourness, especially towards the end. Okay palate yet not much complexity. Drinks well enough. Okay, bit simple, geuze. (75cl bottle from Bierparadijs)

2012 bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with big white head. Aroma is grain, funk, some pear and a good amount of sour. Taste is dry, slightly hoppy for a gueuze with some fruit going on that is hard to pick out, hay and some other barnyard. Not overly sour.

Doften av gammal humle är det första jag tänker på även om den är dämpad. Frisk och härlig. Ganska låg syra jämfört med andra cantillon.

Bouteille 750ml sous le nom de "Cuvée St-Gilloise", courtoisie de mathieuc. De couleur dorée foncée et opaque. Nez de levures sauvages fruitées sûres (pommes vertes sûres, moyen de citron, traces de raisins verts), terreuses et légèrement rustiques, légèrement boisé (bois humide) avec des notes de houblon floral. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement doux mais croustillant ainsi qu’une texture aux notes cidreuses. Goût de levures sauvages fruitées moyennement sûres et acides (citron, léger de pommes vertes, notes de raisins verts) aux notes terreuses et rustiques lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un léger goût boisé (bois humide, traces de fût de chêne) ainsi qu’une légère amertume de houblon floral aux faibles traces citriques (pamplemousse) et herbeuses en finale. Post-goût moyen et plutôt sec, composé d’un goût moyennement aigre de levures sauvages fruitées (zeste d’agrumes, notes de moût de raisins verts et de pelures de pommes) avec des notes boisées et des notes de houblon floral et herbeux.

Bottle from Beermerchants. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of citric fruit, barnyard and brett. Very high carbonated. Taste is wood, crisp and tarty with a short aftertaste, refreshing and easy to like this one.

Chilled bottle, thanks to Josh, poured into a tulip. Pours golden with little white head. Medium body, low carbonation, and tart aroma. Taste is good sourness. Good beer.
