4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a 12 oz bottle poured a brilliant clear copper with an aroma both subtle and bold. Strong alcohol presence but offset by the smooth malty backbone. It’s like 90 Minute only smoother and tastier. I really like this as an after dinner sipper. If I can get it, it will definitely be in the rotation!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Before I got into rating, the few times I had this was when it was aged and I couldn’t stand it. I picked up some for a recent trade and had two bottles left over that are still pretty fresh. Wow, I was very surprised. Aroma was a pleasant one of nuts, toast with floral, citrus hops and some oak booziness. Pour was a bit dark, almost brown, and minimal head but lacing left in glass. A nice citrus taste with some alcohol, but nothing over-powering. Drank very easily. Everyone has different tastes, but I prefer this fresh as opposed to it having a ton of age on it from my past experiences.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
P: Clear effervescent pale golden body with an off white milky head. Chunky lacing that sloshes around like succulent whale blubber.
S: Rich syrupy amber malts, resinous hop oil, saltine crackers, orange peels, taffy wrappers, damp oak and doughy yeast.
T/M: Taste follows the nose with thick amber malt, resin, orange oil and wood. Chewy body with moderate carbonation finishes dry with a floral bouquet.
O: Fantastic oaked IPA. Chewy and rich. Malt forward with an appropriate balance of resinous hops.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Aroma of charred malt, citrus, vanilla, flowers, and a touch of raspberry. Apears orangish-copper, clear, thick head, beautiful lace. Tastes of reisling grapes, flowers, passion fruit, a touch of pine resin, followed by a flash of mild grapefruit bitterness. Palaye very nice, fizzy, but not enough for a 5. Overall, wow! This is a great beer! Dogfish Head never fails me!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep lacquered color, hardly pale. This was good, but despite the complexity I still enjoy their 90 minute ipa better. I do like the hop choice they’ve made for this. It smells a bit more mossy and outdoorsy than the standard beer. It reminds me of my boy scout trips more than almost any other beer, so I think that is it’s strongest point. Sticky lace all over the glass. Really good, but I will still reach for the cheaper standard beer

Super smooth sweet maltiness and fantastic hop boutique. The oak notes cone through. Love it.

Pours Amber, brownish. I was in an awfully dark place with weird lighting so, I may be wrong here.
Smells hoppy, some malty feel to it. Tastes of strong hops on a big swig but when approached mildly, especially rolling it at the tip of your tongue, you can detect hints of sweet almost caramel.
Burton Baton didn't disappoint.

Draft - Skunky hops, caramel malts and slight oak. Clearish orange with a rich beige head. Sweet orange candy and skunky with a bit of booze. A nice DIPA.
