4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a 12 oz bottle poured a brilliant clear copper with an aroma both subtle and bold. Strong alcohol presence but offset by the smooth malty backbone. It’s like 90 Minute only smoother and tastier. I really like this as an after dinner sipper. If I can get it, it will definitely be in the rotation!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Chewy, sticky, leathery, smokey, sour and tart. It’s very complex but finish is abrupt.
Not a go beer but I do enjoy one every once in a while.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Really attainable for a IIPA. The alcohol content is very well hidden. Citrus is upfront with a nice malt aftertaste.

It was good but not something I would drink often. Just too many other good beers that I enjoy more. You can tell by the review that nothing really stood out awesome

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
I have a learned off-sider, Ned. Ned readily bought this back for me from the US and it has sat in a cool dark cupboard for around a year, waiting patiently for its consumption. I am most grateful to Bartlett, but its consumption is mine, all mine. It appears a brassy colour with a skim of head that covers the beer from the top of the glass to the bottom. It smells rich and with alcohol sitting like a ripe and mature character like ripe Port, Oloroso Sherry or Madeira. It smells gorgeous, more like barley wine than IPA. The flavour is similar: mellow fruitfulness of sultanas, jersey caramel, spicy fruit bread, dates, figs and fruit leather. There is a tangy bitterness that is more like preserved orange peel but this is a classic. It is too good to let stay but I will remember it, and Ned, fondly for the service of bringing it to me.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Slightly hoppy nose, golden amber color. Taste starts out with a few hops before turning to oak and then finishes with hops. Slightly thick mouth feel.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma has a lot of citrus hops with distinct caramel malt undertones, the 90 minute is also noticeable; slightly oaky too. Taste is moderately sweet and more bitter in the finish. Lighter body, thinner on the palate, and good carbonation. A really nice beer.

Draft @ World of Beer in Washington DC. Pours a clear amber-brown body with a white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops with some fruit and caramel malts. Taste is similar with more spice/pepper notes. Nice lingering hoppy finish.

Mostly hop smell with some malt. Taste is pretty much the same. Light to medium body, medium to high carbonation, and some foam.
