4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 rayg1 (509) - Charlotte, USA - JUL 10, 2010
So this bottle was sent to me by Kevin (Kaggie97) in a surprsie package, thanks a ton man!! The beer pours out a deep golden yellow with a touch of a white head that lasted only for a few minutes. Robust and thick body. Strong Belgian notes of yeast and fruity pears, apricot, clove and bubble gum. A touch of salt lingers with this beer but helps to balance the beer out nicely. The sweetness of the beer finishes sharply, rather dry and only a slightly hoppy bitterness, however, that Sazz flavor is just perfect. Great beer, the definition of craft beer, a gem of a beer that few know about (including myself) without some local guidance. Freaking awesome beer. My favorite Tripel by far, normally I don’t like this style at all but this is a class of its own.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 jhamp9 (370) - Corinth, Texas, USA - MAY 25, 2012

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20 HighWine (506) - Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Tap flight at Freetail in San Antonio. Very light golden pour with a faint white head. Macerated stone fruit aroma. Taste is quite good; slightly sweet from the sugar, moderately yeasty, and just enough bittering hops. Could be a little sweet for some people but I think it adds to the flavor of the beer. A little thin in the mouth but I like it. This could be a very dangerous beer.

Malt, Belgian yeast, slight spice finish is medium sweet. 8.1%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

I would say that of all the craft beers I have tried in Texas this one has by far the best taste to it. Very smooth and an excellent version of the tripel style.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mabel (4405) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 25, 2012
[4376-20120417] Bottle. Burnt toast grains aroma. Slightly hazy, orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter grassy wet mould grains and light lemony cardboard flavour. Medium body. Not in the mood for it today, would like to taste more hops and less mould. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1-

2012-04-17. Hazy pastel yellow-orange, small off-white head fades. 3+ Flavour is sweet, pale malt, lightly fruity, sweet Belgian yeast character. Very light floral character, some mild hops. 7+ Modest alcohol on the tongue and a bit more in the throat. Aroma is similar, sweet pale malt, light yeasty fruit, modest alcohol. Smooth average plus bodied palate is fairly carbonated. Solid take on a triple. Bottle courtesy of Blankboy
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 vyvvy (2920) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - APR 16, 2012
Sampled at Schlafly 2012 Repeal Fest. Pours cloudy yellow / gold with a white head. The aroma has rich fruity tripel malt, banana esters, light syrup, lots of yeastiness and a prevailing sweetness. Medium / full body with a decent amount of carbonation. The flavor starts quite sweet and has pretty much the same character as the aroma. The finish has some spicy hops added. A decent tripel, but it is a bit sweet for my tastes.

Medium-bodied, with a smooth, chewy mouthfeel and crisp finish with moderate carbonation. The ABV is pretty much hidden.
