4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2012 printed on the cork. Pours hazy golden orange color with a nice 3 finger fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to thick cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings to the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big orange zest, lemon zest, pepper, coriander, earth, clove, pear, wheat, grass, hay, bread, and yeast spiciness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity and balance. Taste of big lemon, orange zest, pepper, clove, pear, wheat, bread, grass, hay, coriander, earth, herbal, floral, and big yeast spiciness. Light wheat tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange zest, wheat, pepper, clove, coriander, bread, earth, grass, and yeast spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic flavor complexity and balance; very crisp and fairly dry finish; no cloying flavors at all. Great malt flavor to spiciness balance as well. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a creamy, chalky, and fairly prickly and crisp mouthfeel that is excellent. Alcohol is very well hidden with almost zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an absolutely world class saision. Insane balance and complexity of flavors; extremely crisp and smooth to sip on. I am going to have to revisit the normal Saision Dupont soon to compare; this is apparently the organically brewed version of that. WOW.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a completely hazed, vibrant darker yellow, with a huge, stable white head.
Smells of sour sweet lemon bonbon, Duponts spicy yeast peofile, defined by clove and peppers, and white bread dough. Has a nice flowery undertone, blending perfectly into a cakey sweetness.
Drinks super smooth with a world class smoothness to it, soothing the spices coming from the yeast, while a lively carbonation during the finish is still able to cut through.
Combines a nice leafy hoppiness with a crisp, lemon accompanied sweetness, balanced by a flowery infusion and the spices. Finishes even sweeter, with rock sugar among more profound spices and an effervescent carbonation, opening up the palate to an aqueous softness.
Another winner from this brewery, perfect for warm summer days - while this is certainly well crafted enough to convince on its own as well. Packs a great lemon / flowery interplay, resulting in a pungent, sweet spiciness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ La Cerveteca. A blurry looking golden one with a huge really lacing bright white head. Smells really good actually. Superb floral and kinda sweetish. Lots of white candied sugars and blue grapes. Nice. Tastes pretty nice also. It has a good oily feeling in the mouth and it’s just above average on the bubbles. Kinda creamy in a way. More floral tones here. It’s really easy to drink. Slightly sugary without being to sweet. Grapes and grape juice. Yeah, a solid Belgian all the way. 06.08.2014

Bottle from Beergium. Golden color, white head. Bitter/a bit sour taste with citrus, earthy notes, hops, spices, grass and a bit of ripe fruits. Bitter/sour finish with citrus, earthy notes, hops, spices and grass. Excellent Belgian strong ale, although not as great as standard Moinette.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle. Hazy straw with three finger head. Extremely bland saison. I don’t know if this is just too old at this point, but it’s just some light sweet graininess with a dull bitter finish. Very little yeast flavor, and no discernable funk. I was quite underwhelmed by this one.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle 25cl. Aroma is yeasty, nothing special there. As the beer is non filtered, it is very cloudy. Color is golden. Minimal head. Taste is sweet and lightly sour. Beer is quite fizzy, finish is short, texture is slightly creamy.
This is drinkable but not really my favorite because taste was too sweet.
