4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2012 printed on the cork. Pours hazy golden orange color with a nice 3 finger fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to thick cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings to the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big orange zest, lemon zest, pepper, coriander, earth, clove, pear, wheat, grass, hay, bread, and yeast spiciness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity and balance. Taste of big lemon, orange zest, pepper, clove, pear, wheat, bread, grass, hay, coriander, earth, herbal, floral, and big yeast spiciness. Light wheat tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange zest, wheat, pepper, clove, coriander, bread, earth, grass, and yeast spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic flavor complexity and balance; very crisp and fairly dry finish; no cloying flavors at all. Great malt flavor to spiciness balance as well. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a creamy, chalky, and fairly prickly and crisp mouthfeel that is excellent. Alcohol is very well hidden with almost zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an absolutely world class saision. Insane balance and complexity of flavors; extremely crisp and smooth to sip on. I am going to have to revisit the normal Saision Dupont soon to compare; this is apparently the organically brewed version of that. WOW.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
25cl bottle served in a Trappist glass. Pours a dark straw cloudy colour with a nice (slightly) off-white head which lasts well throughout the drink with localised areas of carbonation. Aroma is grainy with hints of yeast and citrus. Taste is lemon curd, Belgian yeast, straw with a nice stony dryness. Overall a very well balanced beer and extremely fresh tasting.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Heldere gouden oranje kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt mout, kruiden, stro. Smaakt bitterzoet, kruiden, mout en nog iets wat ik niet kan plaatsen. Iets stoffigs.

2.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow brown golden color. Aromas are Saison-like: Ementhaler infused with lemon, slight pine hint. Nice overall fruity, slightly tropical yeast aroma. The aromas return in the taste, but they are quite (for lack of a better word) spikey: like tasting when you have just brushed your teeth. Slightly earthy, muddy water. Very bitter evolution, creaminess of the cheese in aftertaste. Subsequently, the taste mellows down and becomes a bit watery.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Fresh impression upon opening. Nice shade of yellow. Hazy enough not to see through. Clear enough to see the yeast residue at the bottom. It’s organic but it’s far from the original moinette from my decade-old recollections.

Herbal aroma, spices, biscuit, light caramel, fruit (banana?, citrus?).Sweet welcoming, then medium bitter refreshing with a light sweet background. Medium body, silky texture, good carbonation, herbal bitter finish. Overall, a really nice belgian ale : delicious aroma, balanced aroma, silky texture. What else?
