| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep ruby-brownish color with a thin white head. Aromas of raisins, caramel, candied dates, resinous hops, vanilla, and a hint of alcohol. Taste is strong and sweet initially, sour in the middle, and slightly boozy and bitter in the finish to nicely back up the malt sweetness. Notes of caramel apples, rock candy, and caramel. Warming, creamy, smooth mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Mmm, very good. ericandersnavy (1150), crossroads, Texas, USA

Reddish brown colour, average/soft carbonation, (in my glass) no head.
Appetizing sweet, alcoholy and fruity (citrus, apricot) smell.
Taste is sweet and light sharp, body’s tiny sticky.
Flavour’s sweet, fruity with notes of hops in the back.
Finish is alcoholy contained with a pleasant light-bitter aroma of floral hops.
Interesting beer. Jethro6191 (40), USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours amber with orange and red tints. The thin beige head dissipated quickly. Strong caramel, fermented fruit, and malt aromas. Taste was very sweet and fruity with caramel, alcohol (brandy), and malt flavors. Vaiz (181), Den Haag, Netherlands
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 15, 2009 Pours a clear ruby red to amber color with a thick light orange head. Aroma is intense sweet malt with fruity notes and... some more sweet malt. Flavor is less extreme and actually quite well balanced. There is this delicate sweetness that starts it all off, followed by a nice subtle bitterness that peeks around the corner. Well in balance and never over the line. Although its body is based primarily on the sweet malts it never gets boring. deyholla (786), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Poured a dark reddish amber with a quickly dissipating light brown head. Aroma was full of sweet barley giving it a cereal and caramel flavor. Flavor was quite sweet with a grainy flavor as well as some caramel. Nice and thick on the tongue.
