Bottle. Caramel malt and orange peel hops aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet orange/caramel malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel/pine hops flavor. A bit too sweet.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 michcam8 (28) - Ohio, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Really like the aroma of this beer. Citrus, grapefruit, bread and hops dominate the nose. Reminds me of their Dortmunder Gold with the extra hoppiness. Appearance is darkish gold in color, with a snow white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Not your typical IPA...flavors are not as pronouced as most IPA’s, but an enjoyable beer none the less. Alcohol is hidden well. Easy drinking...more of a summer beer.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 keanex (183) - Williamstown, New Jersey, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Poured into an English pint on tap at The House of Brews in Turnersville.
A: Clear amber body with a thin white head.
S: Faint hints of some sweet citrus. Very mellow.
T: Pale malt base into a nice light citrus bitterness. Well balanced and mellow. Very easy to drink, but doesn’t stand out.
M: Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation with a slight sharpness to it.
O: Easy to drink and good alcohol content for this mellow IPA. It doesn’t stand out, but it is a good representation of the style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 callmemickey (702) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 21, 2012
A: Light orange-amber body with a nice foamy, tiny bubble head. Quickly receded. Spotty lacing.
S: Bright citrus/floral/pine notes. A little of everything here. The orange character is the most striking aroma. Slight bready malt body in the background.
T: First sip was a bit disappointing. The flavor was really muted and generic. Each subsequent sip, however, revealed new flavoring. In general it was much like the nose, orange up front with floral and pine notes carrying the remainder. The malt didn’t hide, but also did not distract from the nice hop bitterness.
M: Smooth, medium bodied. Nice carbonation. Somewhat rounded finish.
O: Pretty solid. Could easily be an easy every-day drinker. Lacking in complexity and umph to really standout however.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kjohns (73) - North Dakota, USA - JAN 17, 2012
Clear light golden pour with moderate white bubbly head. Light floral aroma with a tinge of sweetness. Flavor leans to the sweet side with some bitter grapefruity hops to balance things out. Somewhat bitter almost dry finish. If you’re looking for an in-your-face hop bomb, this isn’t the beer you’re looking for. A very well balanced brew that’s quite sessionable.

I smell leaves! Green leaves from perhaps a maple tree. And some pine needles from an evergreen! Has a foamy off white head. Taste is a bit bitter with some creamyness. Pretty well rounded beer.
