hazy orange color, mango and grape fruit hops aroma, flavor it citrus hops and slight malty sweetness, lots of flavor for such a low ABV

Odd sized bottle from NorCalGrowler, pour is lighter than expected and bubbly nose is hoppy and the taste is a bitter bomb not as bright or floral but definitely west coast, this is good bottled on 1/6/2012 consumed 2/1/12

Draft @ APEX. Pours a very clear golden color with a thick foamy white head and nice lacing and retention. Aroma is big citrus (grapefruit and tropical fruits)and a touch malt. Flavor follows suit with the mango and grapefruit up front followed by light maltiness. The only competition in the world of IPAs is Two Hearted. Damn fine beer and so much flavor for 6%.

Rate from memory. had in bottle. Good season IPA. taste like a less intense Pliny the Elder. one of the better IPAs around

16oz pint pours a clear orange with a lacking white head. Aromas of.grapefruit, lemons, pine, limes, a little honey and some white grape. Flavor is sweet, malty, lemon, pine, grapefruit zest, fresh cut wild grass. Medium bodied, dry, zesty, refreshing finish.

Clear light gold with some head light lacing
Aroma of sweet hops,floral,candy light fruit mild herbal a little resin, some lemon and dank very slightly peppery.Fairly complex aroma, has some light swwet carmel malt as well.Not strong though but average intensity.
Good initial mouthfeel developing into a lighter bodied lightly sweet/ mild light toast malt shortlived with a heavy hop presence grassy,slightly herbal/earthy. Some lemony tartness in here as well.With a very dry finish with strong hop flavor and bittering.Another classic west coast ipa,dry ,hop forward and not a strong malt backbone like its suppose to.Easy drinking but with a strong more noticable hop presence and bittering.Strong long lingering.

Copper in color with nice head retention. Very nice citrus and malt flavors, great beer and easy to drink!

On tap at the brewery. pours gold with a medium white head! The should rename this to pliny light! its amazing!
