4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Brewsmith (148) - Torrance, USA - JAN 30, 2009
From a 0.5L bottle purchased locally poured into an imperial pint glass. Resiny hops fill the nose with citrus and pine. A golden color with a small white head. Flavor is forward with the hops followed by smooth malt. Crisp lingering bitterness. Carbonation is low and the finish is dry making this beer very drinkable. I could drink this all day long.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Peacehammer (246) - California, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Another of my favorites I’ve yet to rate. Pours a deep orange with about a finger of foamy white head. Thick, dank hoppy aroma. Medium light body, an the hop flavors sit nicely on top of the malts. This is one fantastic IPA.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 dylan88 (223) - Rimini, ITALY - MAY 28, 2012
On tap. It pours clear amber, with a foamy white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, pine, grass, pineapple and sherbet. The taste is soft fruit - orange, tangerine and grapefruit, as well as pine, resin, spice and some alcohol warmth, with a long-bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Pours golden amber with a bright white head that left sticky lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus, grapefruit, and some orange rind. Flavor was hoppy and bitter with caramel, grapefruit zest, piney resin, grass and had some notes of citrus with a long and bitter dry finish.

Had out of the tap at Pizza Port Solana Beach. Pours Amber with a frothy white head, and has aroma of caramel, citrus and hoppiness. Had a delicious bodty, and sat of the tongue with a beautiful citrus top end.
Excellent!
4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 jcartamdg (256) - Spring Hill, Florida, USA - MAY 21, 2012
Poured into a ccb pint. Pours a golden amber with a 2 finger head. Very clear and crisp, lots of carbonation. Aromas of citrusy hops, smells like summer. Taste has a good balance of malts and hops bitter but not too bitter, just enough to make you want more. Very smooth and refreshing, this is a near perfect ipa! Blind pig flies under the radar due to pliny, but it really deserves more recognition!

Tap at Russian River. Damn...pretty special stuff here. Rich citrus hop on the nose and taste. Ridiculously drinkable. Fantastic beer.

Amazing. I love this beer. It is a great hippy beer that taste similar to the Elder, yet a more bitter finish.
