2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 surfmurf (85) - Philadelphia, USA - DEC 24, 2008
I happened to buy the 750 ml bottle fresh packed and tried it the following day. It was still very fresh, bubbly head with a nice lacing. The smell reminded me of Sierra Nevada pale Ale but the flavor was much more vibrant.
It packed a bit of a kick ( I think the alcohol content is more like a malt liquor). Overall a nice beer to try but at 18.25 a bottle its a bit pricey but well worth a try.

Traded 75cl C&C bottle that’s probably from 2009 or so. Initially this reminded me something along the lines of Piraat with some noticeable sweetness but it finished with some breadiness. Okay.

Fall 2011 Ratebeer gathering. My first beer from this brewer. +++ Sampled from a 750 ml brown corked bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was sweet caramel, apricot, bread and table sugar. The flavor was tangy candied golden fruits and table sugar. The finish was long and tangy with lingering pear, apricot and sugar. Thick and syrupy body. Interesting.

750ml bottle courtesy of my friend J. Pours a hazy golden amber with a moderate white head. There are lots of little tiny floaties swirling about. Pleasant aroma of yeast, sugar, spice, and citrus. The flavor is fairly sweet with yeast, malt, sugar, and spice. Dries out towards the finish. Medium bodied.
