COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Ice is brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn that lends Natural Ice its delicate sweetness. It then undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing and leads to the formation of ice crystals which create its signature rich and smooth taste.

Characterized by its robust body, delicate sweetness and smooth, rich taste.

The introduction of Natural Ice provided the company with two brands in the value priced ice beer category (Busch Ice was also introduced in 1995).

Bought a 30-pack for my friend’s birthday (it’s his favorite). Pale straw color. Whiff of banana in the nose? Having a hard time describing the texture. Watery at first, but deceptively rich. Very fizzy. Kind of sweet and kind of bitter. Faintly grainy. Basically, it’s alcohol, water, and bubbles in a can.

pale straw with one finger head. reminds me of college. tastes crappy, but you don’t drink this for taste. there’s certainly worse swill out there.

from notes: This beer is exactly what you thought it was. Industrial swill with an extra kick of alcohol. College material. I would never drink this again.

Nastiness in a can. Up there with some of the worst ever. Absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever.

Can @ the First Annual Rocky Mountain Malt Liquor Tasting. Light yellow appearance with a white head. Corny, adjunct, shitty shit aroma. Watery, corny, fusel alcohol, poop flavor. Fuck you.

Original review: 9/8/09. 24 oz. can at my local grocery for $1.49, why not? Poured into my pilsner glass a slightly dark yellow with a monster of a white head on top. Retention was decent, and it left some spots of lace. Smells very cheap and grainy. Nothing to the nose at all. The mouth was thin and wet. Typical for the style. The flavor was better than some other macros I’ve tried, but still thin and lacking any substance. Hints of cheap grains, and slight honey-kissed breadiness on the finish. Not much going on. This would be refreshing on a hot day, no doubt, but I will most likely never have this again.

Well, here it goes. Can’t be worse than Clamato. Keeping it in the can, don’t want to sully my dishes. I can imagine it’s straw to amber yellow with a finger or so of head that leaves pretty quick. Smell is a bit grainy. Taste is skunk and watered down grain. Meh, could be worse.

12oz can, offered by my friend David over spring break, who swears by this stuff. Honestly, it wasn’t that bad... And I think the "malt liquor" label is falsely applied here. He loved it for the smoothness, and it certainly has that going for it, and it wasn’t offensive... so how is a 1.0 average score warranted here? I even wanted to hate it, being the beer nerd of the group. Super clear pale yellow color, bubbles on side of glass.. Nice, thick foamy white head, leaving little lace. Smooth carbonation is slightly on the lighter side for an american macro-lager. Sort of savory, light salty taste. Neither good nor bad. Aroma is white bread. Light skunk, hint of zesty citrus peel. Actually... More enjoyable than I expected it to be

24oz can - pours pale yellow with white head. Flavor is corn and somewhat malty. Taste is sweet. light to medium body with thin to sticky texture. Light metallic aftertaste. Burpy! Better than I remember it.

12 oz can pours yellow with a white head. This is just another example of a cheap mass produced beer. Not much to it.
