4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz bottle from Southern Season. Iíve sought this for quite a while, so Iíll try to be reasonable. Pours orangish dark golden with fluffy head that laces well. Aroma is heavy citrus and a hint of pine hops. Taste is big fresh earthy punchy hops with tons of citrus flavor. Clean crisp finish. Dare I say it - this reminds me of Pliny. Nothing spectacular, just an excellent IPA lacking in flaws.

On Tap. Served a clear copper color with a nice head. Aroma of pine and primarily light fruit. Taste of pine and fresh fruits. Sharp bitterness that lingers into the finish. Moderate body, with a crisp, clean feel. Its a quality beer but Iím not really into West Coast IPAs.

Excellent nose, malts feel right at home with the hops. Bitterness is totally on point with a fantastic flavor. Brilliantly clear. Wonderful beer.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
My favorite IPA yet. I stock this regularly, and love all the related Sculpins too (Grapefriut, Pineapple). So strange to get that perfect simultaneous sharpness, sweetness, and smooth all together at the same time. Maybe be the perfect beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. 7.0%. Best before 08.07.16. Pours a hazy orange with a lasting, yellowish head. Decent lacing. Grape fruit and pine hop aroma, a bit fat, and with a slightly dusty/dry overtone, bordering cardboard. Light cheesy/old hops note as it warms. Sweetish, bitter and fat flavour. Pine hops, and a wee bit juicy. Rather bitter finish with an alcohol burn, lingering, along with a light green apple note. Soft palate. Overall good, though not as good as I had expected/hoped for, and less complex Ė but a fresher example might prove better. 04.02.16.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great CA IPA on the nose, and one of the go to classics. Lots of citrus and pine. Taste imparts a little bit more tropical flavor which makes sense why the adjuncts of this have been grapefruit and pineapple. Whichever way you want to lean away from the base you can and both are excellent as well.

Aroma: fruity, very faint hops; Appearance: straw colored, clear with thin head and some lacing; Taste: acceptable but not much personality; not particularly bitter; not complex; Palate: finish a bit better - long, dry, more bitter; Overall: okay. Would drink if available but not seek out.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Piccadilly, BodÝ. Has a slightly hazy orange color with a creamy off-white head. Fruity aroma of peaches, pine, orange peel, grapefruit and dry hay. More grapefruit in the flavor along with peaches, grassy hops, pine and citrus. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a balanced bitterness. A fruity and nice IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours orange amber with thin head. Light lacing. Aroma of citrus and resinous hops balanced with apricot and malt. Flavor starts off a little sweet with flavors of peaches, lemon and oranges and progresses in to a long dry finish. Body is a bit thin but does not take much away from experience. Oily texture. Moderate carbonation. Really tasty but would do well with a bit more weight.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
335 ml. bottle from Systembolaget, poured in to a Tulip. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a creamy off-white head. Fruity aroma with grapefruit, grasses, sweet, tropical fruits and caramel malts. A toasted note. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits and toasted notes. In essence a typical westcoast IPA.
