4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 raradel (230) - Atlanti Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 17, 2012Almost perfect, this is a great experience, the only complaint is the malty aftertaste, but even that is masked beautifully by the hoppy suprise that you can only taste when you exhale. GREAT!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jeremyh70 (371) - Missouri, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Pours black with ruby highlights and a good khaki head with good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, molasses, coffee and some chocolate. Roasty taste with molasses and some licorice that fades into a semi sharp coffee bean bitterness with some dark chocolate. Oily mouthfeel and full bodied with medium carbonation. An above average stout that is flavorful but a bit harsh for my taste.

Rating Backlog #3. The ceramic bottle is interesting, but is maybe gives the impression that Rogue is trying a little too hard. This pours dark and thick with decent head. Milkshake like malty flavors abound. Solid overall beer. Bottle - Trappeze Pub - Athens, GA
