Pint bottle- poured out a deep, opaque, brown with a full khaki head. Aroma was dark fruit, figs(?) and plenty of malt. Tastes of coffee, malt and a slight, pleasant sweetness. Palate was perfect, thick with an oily smoothness. Overall an excellent stout. Will go back to this one again and look for others from St. Peters.

Tap at Jerusalem Tavern. Black with bubbly head. Creamy cocoa nose, rather simple. Sweet cocoa flavor, a touch of latte, bitter finish. Decent but a bit boring.

Bière très sombre, fines bulles, peu de mousse, au goût de cacao torréfié et qques notes de café. Moins forte et donc plus accessible que les bières équivalentes dans le style

Bottle 0,5. Dark brown, almost black, creamy head. Coffee & chocolate aroma. Taste: well balanced, a little of bitterness, sweet aftertaste. Medium body. Good.

Anytime I have a cream or sweet stout, I expect more sweetness than an Imperial Stout, but this was more an an imperial than cream to me. This is a typical stout, not bad but good.

From a bottle. So smooth and velvety, pours thick and dark, malty aroma, rich full bodied and delicious. Love it.

Pitch black with light brown fast disappearing foam. The smell has hints of licorice. The taste is roasty with particle mouth feeling. Medium carbonation and chocolate. The aftertaste is dry and chocolatey. The beer is not insanely creamy and maybe a little over carbonated, but it is easy to drink and has a quite low price.

Black Cream Stout, a masterpiece of brewing. Very tight. Taste unforgettable. The flavor of prunes, roasted coffee, mild cocoa.

£1.50 from Tesco, Salford Precinct. Not seen in the other local Tesco - unsure why they stock differently. Lovely beer with a more subtle chocolate taste. Thick and creamy
