4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
330 ml bottle. Good artwork. Pours cloudy yellow with medium white head. Wheat aroma with notes of lemon. The taste is amazing! A bit roasty, caramelly, lemony, and just the right amount of sweetness. The 8.4% vol are not detectible at all!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a 330ml bottle on 23/5/2015. Pours a very ligjht golden with a big white head. The aroma is bready, fruity (especially banana), spicy and yeasty. Take a sip and it’s very sweet and fruity, with lots of citrus fruit, banana, vanilla, clove and white bread. There’s the unmistakable presence of Belgian yeast and a gentle bitterness at the back. Has a creamy texture and very lively carbonation (perhaps just a touch too much). This is a refreshing yet quite complex and impressive brew. Deserving of its big rep.

Very nice little brew. Big and bold in flavor with a spiciness that is deceptive. I get some banana, some wheat, some vanilla, some toffee, and some lemony character. Likes

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20

Enorm lekker fris biertje. Fruitig karakter en licht afdronk. Super bij zomers weer.

Bottiglia.

An interesting tripel which is lighter bodied than many others. Poured into a Stella glass (like the glass, at least) with a big, big head. Obviously bottle fermented, as the carbonation was lively as well, spiraling the bubbles upward. Hazy pale yellow and with a flavor that does justice both to the yeasty, spicy fruitiness of the tripel as well as to the 3 grains used in the mash. Sweet, then dry finish and I’m pretty certain that some hops were involved in the brewing process as well. This bottle was a bit more expensive than many another tripel, but it is a damn good one.

330 ml bottle poured at home into a tripel karmeliet glass! Pours hazy gold with a crazy head that lasts for days. Smells of banana and citrus. Carbonated feel in mouth with citrus taste and a little alcohol kick at the end. Drinkable for sure!
