Bottle conditioned.
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

10-FEB-2012, bottle @home, from "Ølbutikken". Hazy golden with lively white head. Nose is yeasty spicy with clove, wood, and orange peel. Taste is the same with a citric addition. Starts of with a touch of sweetness but turns mouthwatering dry. Carbonation is very lively. Very small bobbles grow and fill the mouth. Ends with a touch of bitterhops. Mid-palate is a bit watyery. Fine brew.

Gold color, single finger head. Peppery aroma. Really funky taste, kind of like stinky cheese. The funk really lingers after you drink it. I’m not a huge fan.

Appearance golden color with a hazy fizzy 1 finger head,little lacing. Aroma is sweet t hoppy with floral citrusy with sour farmhouse estery yeast. Balance sweet citrusy meduim tart a hint of grass. Mouthfeel was smooth crisp creamy bubbly delicate dry finish. Love it.

Clear, light golden colour and thin but tight head. Aroma of fresh green hops. Nice dry, bitter flavour. It remains fresh though and a slight sweetness comes through too. Very high carbonation.

My favourite saison!. Yeasty, spicy, fruity, citrus notes with a slight bitterness in the finish. Very refreshing.

Fantastic Beer. Had this xmas day instead of champagne. Poured a lovely golden colour with a big white head. Aromas of fruit and a nice crisp finish. Even non beer fans in the family enjoyed this one. Definitely buy this again!
