Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

For export relabeled as "Vieille Provision".

Pours a golden color with sediment from the yeast floating about. Active foamy head that is loose structured but still rather tight. Carbonation is quite lively and active. The aroma has a yeasty and malty smell. It’s pungent and sharp or acidic. taste is sweet malts with yeasty undertones. A complex taste from this lighter weight beer. There is some spiciness going on, and some acidic notes giving it a sharp and tangy feel. Then there is the bright carbonation bubbles across the palette. Ending dry and bitter. A good beer for pungent cheeses me thinks.

Lovely saison. Citrus, herbs, ginger and a dash of alcohol. Pale, cloudy body, frothy, white head. Medium sweet, lightly bitter and sour. Balanced. Medium body, thin. Fizzy, with long finish.

Didn’t quite get the high rating of 3.8. Would have rated it aroun 3.2. Now made a (com)promise to drink and rate again. Taste is light spicy but strong bitterness dominates. Mouthfeel is good and aftertaste is very good.

Aroma complex with pepper, coriander, wheat. Pours a tiny bit cloudy with a big white head that’s pretty intense. Straw body. Very dry. Slight chalk finish. Citrus comes through in taste. Very light body. Full complex flavor, lively, and refreshing.

Wow, too bad I had only one bottle to taste. Dark yellow with nice solid head. Its a nice bitter, no hidden sugars or remaining flavours. I like the used hops for the arima and spicy taste. Not a beer to drink quickly but definately one to enjoy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good lacing, large and lasting, white to off-white head with yellow orange color. Aroma of spices, yeast and citrus. medium-bodied, creamy beer with a little sour in the finish.

Herbal, slightly spicy aroma with hay hops and a rich yeast background. Slight musty note. Some floral hops around the edges. Cloudy golden pour with persistent, thick white foam. Initially sharp on the tongue with active fizz and medium body. Very slight soapiness. Herbal notes come out in the tasting with some sweet malt backbone. Some acidic Slight metallic hoppy tang but with a dry finish. Robust alcohol toward the end. .

Served from 750ml bottle into tulip glass. Appearance: thick, foamy white head that grows as more streaming carbonation occurs in the glass. This beer is very active. Color is cloudy yellow with some particles in suspension. Aroma: funky yeast is dominate with some citrus and spicy bread notes. Mouthfeel: thin bodied with an extremely dry finish. About my only complaint with this beer is that it is almost TOO dry. Flavor: yeasty bread dough, lingering citrus rind bitterness, sweet spices. Overall: an outstanding beer in this style.
