On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, and well worth the trip from downtown on my final night in Seattle. Pours pale coppery orange with no head. No lacing - a lighter apple cider look. Aroma is pretty close to heaven; fresh fruit, pine, citrus in a lovely succulent blend. Taste has sweet fruit, pine needles, bitter citrus. A hint of malt. A fruity, lightish, super smooth blend. Gets more bitter thru the glass. Finishes bittersweet about medium length. A wonderful easy drinker.

22 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Best by 17 Mar 16. The beer is a coear copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has notes of stale cardboard, dry pine needles, orange rind, old vanilla beans. The taste has mostly just dry bitterness and some white grapefruit juice bitterness. Medium body and lower, medium carbonation. Maybe this beer is older than I thought, but the beer did just show up on shelves.

Gold clear pour with a single finger head. Aroma is flowery and a little dank, maybe some fresh cut grass. Full mouth. Very dry finish that is long and bitter. Lots of grapefruit, grass and a little earth. Light caramel notes. Very tasty. Lace present.

22 oz bottle shared by ebone1988. This one is after 3 different liquid disasters, so hopefully we can turn it around. The pour is a nice deep orangey gold color with a nice white head and some pretty solid lace as it falls to a film. The aroma is really good. There is a beautiful bright hoppiness, lots of tropical fruits, and a great dankness. There is a nice maltiness, but it's really well hidden in there. I love the fruitiness going on here with it. The flavor is a bit disappointing. The maltiness is resounding, which wasn't the sign from the nose. There is a decent dankness, but the malts are front and center. No real bitterness, which means the resin and hops take a back seat. The tropical fruits that were so prevalent in the nose just fade away. The mouth feel is decent and well carbonated. The finish is lingeringly malty with a light dank tropical fruit happening. Could be better ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with koleminer20, after a number of horrible beers for the day and in order to hopefully make up for that. Aroma is tropical fruit, pine, a touch of malt, juicy, dank. Appearance is close to amber, white head, looks delicious. Taste is tropical fruit, dank, some malt, pine, pretty good. Mouthfeel is crisp carbonation and medium body. Overall, it’s pretty good but I thought it would be better.

Pours clear amber with a thick and frothy, if not too persistent, ivory head. Aroma presents hoppy and subtle citrus tones, typical but pleasing. Flavor is average, hoppy, resiny, a little woody, a little bitter, underpinning of grapefruit. Mouthfeel features average body and strong fizz. Average, but enjoyable.

For a standard IPA, this is as good as it gets. Full bodied, beautiful strings of citrus, grapefruit, dankness, just a juicy smelling beer. Taste is more if the same. Yum.

Clear deep golden with a thin sticky white cap. Lovely piney and sweet floral resins on the nose with a bit of light citrus zest. Crisp and hoppy flavor with lots of leafy tones, citrus bitterness, floral resin flavor and bitterness, a touch of pine, and finishing resiny and bitter and a little floral. Not bad. Tastefully made.

22 oz. bb 20 Apr 2016. Big bright aroma jumps out of the bottle: evergreen resin, tangerine zest, pineapple and flowery honey. Taste is just as bold with the same mix plus some dried green herb thrown in for good measure. Near-medium body has medium carbonation and a dry-hop bias that provides a nice counter to the ample malt body.

Decent run of the mill IPA. Aroma was catty with pine and earth. Pour was a medium light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was decent. Very malt forward with burnt caramel dominating the flavor. The simcoe hops were big in the finish with that cattiness lingering alongside the malt. Nice carbonation.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co. and shaker served, displaying a slightly hazed, orangey gold color, with a healthy layer of soft white head foam that changed to rocky persistence, and wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was expressive grapefruit, some pit fruit, lightly dank, with a little resin & sweetness, and light breadiness to the malt. A bit better than medium bodied, with fair carbonation, the taste was similar notes as the aroma, including a pronounced earthy & rind-like bitterness that lingered long, and alcohol presence that wasn’t necessarily warming, but pleasantly noticeable. Well put together IPA.
