On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, and well worth the trip from downtown on my final night in Seattle. Pours pale coppery orange with no head. No lacing - a lighter apple cider look. Aroma is pretty close to heaven; fresh fruit, pine, citrus in a lovely succulent blend. Taste has sweet fruit, pine needles, bitter citrus. A hint of malt. A fruity, lightish, super smooth blend. Gets more bitter thru the glass. Finishes bittersweet about medium length. A wonderful easy drinker.

Draught bishops folkis. Slight hazy bright amber with a nice creamy off white head. Aroma: grapefruit, oranges, apricot, some bright caramel and piney hops. Perfect amount of sweet caramel mix with grapefruit and oranges plus some apricot and marzipan. Pine needles in the finish with a slight saltiness adding to the rusticness of the maltbase. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily texture. A textbook ipa. Nicely ballanced and flavourful. In pretty good condition as well. Very nice.

Bottle to pint glass. Beautiful subtle blend of citrus and resin. Slight haze and burnt gold with white top capping throughout. Taste is beautiful mix of resin, citrus and malt backing.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 12 Feb 2016) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, crisp-bread and fresh hops. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, biscuits and lots of fresh, citric hops in a finish with a generous bitterness. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Really tasty and well made IPA with a fresh hop character. Very nice.

Citrus dominated. I have a cold right now so don’t fully appreciate this. Syrupy feel with plenty of hop zing, yet good balance. I’ve heard good things and I’ll try again with a fully intact nose.

Pours hazy orange with a thick and foamy yellow white head that leaves some nice wet lacing. Aroma is wonderful sweet and floral tropical citrus. Orange and apricot. Tastes juicy with orange and grapefruit citrus. Really well-balanced with a nice malt backbone, mildly sweet citrus and some solid closing bitterness. Truly outstanding everyday IPA.

Tap @ Bishops Arms Hornsgatan. Hazy golden with a medium sized white head leaving rich lacing. Hoppy citrus aroma, orange, apricote and pine. Really smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonated still soft on the palate. Hoppy citrus taste with a rather high pine bitterness, rich malt backbone and mild caramel notes. Solid brew!

Poured from the bottle of a six pack, hazy orange with white head. I get a little tropical, more of the dry grapefruit, good alcohol content, drinks about 15 minutes a beer, this should be available in a 12-pack.

It has that initial punch of hops at the beginning and then fades into a malty finish. The bitterness never gets overbearing which allows the malts to stand out a bit more.
