| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 22, 2009 bottle - dark yellow with white frothy head, moderate lacing. Aroma bubblegum, banana, cloves with just a dash of cinnamon and the faintest hint of warm biscuits. Light citrus-apply (I tend to invent adjectives) taste with a trace of malt, and I concur with delnoche who put his finger on it - there is a hint of walnut as well. Slightly sour finish with just enough bitterness to even it all out. Pleasantly carbonated and very drinkable, Papsoe (15178), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Discreet, lightly sweet banana aroma. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, a little low in carbonation, banana, cloves and a whiff of yeast. 050709 joelitobarski (2), Trento, Italy does not count | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 18, 2009 I’m brand new to this beer tasting malarky, so I may have to return to this particular beer when I’m a wiser man. Still, I’m a big fan of weissbier and I think I should be a fairly decent judge.
Overall, I thought it was an average beer. I’ve definitely had better. It had a very watery taste and colour. Apart from that, there was nothing particularly wrong with it - but it didn’t exactly stand out. The aroma was pleasing, but it always is with weissbier.
This was a beer that did nothing wrong, but still failed to impress. drowland (1445), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
