COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA pours a slightly hazy, pale orange with a balanced malt flavor and finishes with a wonderful flavor and aroma only American hops can provide. This beer is served unfiltered to retain all the bouquet from the hops.

Always grab some sixers of this when in OH visiting the in-laws. Noticed I never gave this a proper review. 12oz bottle into a goblet. The pour yields a dark honey-amber with a thick frothy bone-white head. Great retention, with spotty lace left behind. Pine, citrus, floral overtones. Nothing new here, but the aroma is so potent and fresh. Love it. Medium carbonation gives this beer enough heft to hold up the flavors, but without any lasting astringency. The reason I love this beer so much is the perfect balance between the bitter hops and sweet malty backbone. I would say this even leans slightly to the sweet side, which isnít a detriment to it at all. Grapefruit, musk melon, orange give this a nice fruity quality. The hops add just a touch of oily feel as well, and they donít linger too long on the aftertaste. Just enough "burn" to satisfy the hop-head in me, but fleeting enough to keep me gulping this one. This is one of the most drinkable and approachable IPAs I have had, and it will be one I continually buy when in the area. Canít wait until Christmas when I can get some more!

Yellow clear pour from 12 oz bottle at home. Hoppy lemon and citrus flavor. Bitter finish. Solid ipa

Thanks to Ben at Rudys for this one. Orange/yellow pour with an off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit hops. Taste fruity hops and a solid malt base. Nice balance of the hops and malt. Easy to drink, it goes down so smoothly. Nice lacing revealed by each sip taken.

Bottle. Pours orange with a slight haze. Mild grapefruit aroma over carbonation typical of the style. Above average ipa that's tasty but nothing spectacular. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cbcís pale ale, on tap at the cbc restaurant. This beer is a light yellow in color with a fine head of white bubbles. Nose is strong with evergreen hops. Taste is similar with more hops over a backdrop of medium sweetness. Overall, this is a middle of the road but solid ipa.

Pours hazy copper color with white head. Aroma is citrus, floral hops and pine. Flavor starts off sweet caramel malt followed by citrus flavors and finishing with bitter pine. Bitterness lingers for a bit.

Poured from a bottled 2 days ago into a tulip glass clear yellow gold with an impressive white head. Aroma is beautifully pine. Flavor even better than aroma. Clean cut pine trees with slight malts. Truly an incredible IPA. Even with west coast preference (by birth) in beers this brew makes me step back and realize how truly great Midwest brews have become. Makes many IPAs seem half assed.

Pour form a 12oz bottle. Cloudy orange amber brew with one finger of head that soon passes. Lots of sediment that settles quickly to the bottom of the glass. Excellent hoppy aroma - pine, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is light bodied and hops forward with an excellent citrus hoppiness, a little pine emerges mid swallow, ends with a clean grapefruity finish. A superior IPA, clean, potent and agile.

Bottle from awlcordell. Hazy dingy golden with a nice white head. Citrus fruit in the nose and just a little pale malts. That is pretty much the flavor. Nothing fancy or exotic here, just a nice classic American IPA.

Wow. Totally unexpected. This is a citrusy hoppy bomb of an IPA. Very impressive. The color is hazy orange and the flavor is citrus through and through. Creamy mouth feel with a crisp finish. Great beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
