Commercial Description:
Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Pint glass from 12oz bottle. Chilled but not cold. Poured a nice golden yellow with what appeared to be very high carbonation. The bubbles soon dissipate and the carbonation is about right. The aroma is of ripe banana and pepper with lighter hits of coriander. Massive ripe bannana and citrus notes hit your first with a the rest of the profile taken up by spice (pepper, coriander, cinnamon), yeast, bread, and noticeable heat from alcohol. There is some nice hop bitterness for balance and coats your mouth with a great feel. Stands up very well to spicy cosine and the carbonation makes it quite refreshing.

cloudy golden, small white head. very nice "belgian" yellow fruity aroma, quite strong but not bitter or agressive, delicate. faint flowery hops blend in too.. flavor is quite special, not exactly your ordinary belgian ale. yellow fruity, flowery hoppy, mild spices that does not take front stage, but still changes the flavor to something exotic, pineapple?,, pommegranate?, a little more exotic than the usual belgian beer, but quite tasty.

Probably my favorite Victory brew, and nice to find that it seems to be available in my neck of the woods year round. Great robust hay in the malt backbone with some toast, a nice combination of floral and grass in the hops nose, sort of an earthy yeast background, and some of that typical banana/bubblegum Belgian stuff coming through. A great trippel. And very easy to drink.

One of the best from Victory. Sweetness, fruit, citrus, butterscotch, biscuit, clove, black pepper, and a clean finish.

Pours golden color with white head that doesn’t last. Spicy and yeasty aroma with bananas. Flavors of bananas, dough and spices. Medium body with lively carbonation.

12 oz. bottle. Pour is translucent golden-pear with a light but sizeable head. Aroma is spicy and yeasty. A potent underlying alcohol flavor with moments of spice and florals and a balance of hops and malt. Dry finish. Interesting. Almost exotic, but that’s likely descriptive of the style itself. The intricate amalgam of lightness, froth, and eastern spices conveys an almost meditative, ascetic quality. A good beer, but a little spicy.

Deceptively dangerous...bright yellow golden pour, tons of fluffy white head, nice lacing...very yeasty and spicy, nice balance between malt and hops, hides the strong alcohol content very well

12oz bottle. Murky gold pour with a big bright white head that sticks around for a while. nice spicy aroma of pineapple and pear. funky sweet yeast and banana taste with cinnamon and cloves (I think). texture is thin to medium with lots of bubbly carbonation. quick unremarkable finish. nothing outrageous - but nice and drinkable.
