A very good weisse beer. Notes of bananna were overwhelming for me but i was drinking a few heavier beers before i got to this one. Standard German Heffe.

50cl bottle poured into a stein. Served a little warm but still very tasty. Nice pale foamy head which subsided slowly but left a nice lacing on the way down. Yeast and friut aroma, palate was sublime and not bitter or hoppy. A style I really enjoy and wish there was more variety available in Quebec.

This beer is creamy, slightly fruity, and a little spicy with strong notes of yeast and wheat. Overall a very elegant balanced Hefeweizen. The carbonation is subtle and pleasant, and some good malt flavor is present. Crisp finish without much bitterness. An very pleasant beer.

Tap. Moderate grain and hay notes for the malt, faint citrus for the hops, light dough for the yeast, and background aromas of banana and clove. Head is average size, creamy, white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy yellow/tan. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery yet a little slick, with a lively carbonation. A really good example of a German Hefeweizen.

I’ve had this on tap and bottle many times, now I’m finally rating it. Pours cloudy orange with thick white head. Bannana, yeasty nose. Taste more of the same, citrus and spices. Creamy body. Clean finish.
