| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 23, 2009 Bottle. Light malt aromas of dark bread and cereal, light herbs for the hops, with toffee, honey and a hint of cola in the background. Head is fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear light brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes the same way. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. Pretty light all around, but just about everything an Oktoberfest is supposed to be, this is. Toxygen (414), Sanford, Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Bottle with friends. Pours a burnt copper in color with a medium size off white head. Aroma is bready and malty. Flavors of toasted malt, honey, and a hint of fruit back up the minor hop presence in the finish. DerWeg (783), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 16, 2009 Tap at Rhino, served in HS dimpled mug. Sweet, fine creamy serve, not too chilled - perfect. Unusual grapey & cola/sasparilla rootsy flavors - rolls over the palate kind of fruity with a spice note, insanely quaffable and surprisingly tasty. Well worth the diversion. mike67 (95), , New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 9, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a dark amber with a big, off white, short lived head. Lively carbonation. The best quality of the beer is its nice aroma of caramel malts, perfume hops and some dough. The flavor is similar to aroma, but much weaker. Finish is short and unremarkable. The body is medium and crisp. OK Octoberfest but there are much better choices.
