12oz bottle @Kaisla. Poured black with a brown head. Licorice, coffee and chocolate aroma, very inviting. Flavors quite the same, silky smooth mouthfeel with a long lasting finish of roasted malt and dark chocolate. Warming alcohol in finish as well. Wow! What a great IS.

Pours a thick black with plenty of head! Huge nose of dark chocolate, caramel, peanuts, malts, brown sugar and coffee. Taste is thick and bold, lots of chocolate, and coffee. Something I could enjoy, but not drink more than one. Fabulous beer though!

Bottle. Huge brown head over a black opaque body. Aroma-taste-coffee, chocolate, molasses, alcohol with a significant penetrating bitter finish. Medium to full bodied.

Aroma seems very chocolately and malty. The color seemed dead on with a nice cream brown head retention. Wow this beer is like a meal in a bottle, very full bodied and very sweet and chocolately. Strong bitter adter taste and not smooth. This brew is worth a buy once in awhile but not an every day drinker.

A very good stout. Very thick, black, almost like coffee. Smells nutty. Taste is a little sweet to start, with coffee and milk. Slightly hoppy finish. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light chocolate and espresso flavors. A little raisin, but not much. Finishes with a bit of a bite, making the alcohol level clear without being sweet.

Awesome stout. Pours black, huge head. Aroma is sweet, a little choclate note. Taste is awesome. Rich and creamy, mid mouth feel, nice after taste with slight bitter. A solid stout.

12oz bottle from Crossroads Beer & Wine, Burlington, MA. Pours deep black with a thin tan head; chocolate malt aroma with a touch of vanilla; rich flavour with deeply roasted chocolate malts and some coffee grounds; then some sharp hops giving a drying finish.

Pours a dark chocolate in color with a rich tan head which subsides to a thin film with some nice lacing, aroma is roasty, toasty and the taste is carmel, chocolate, medium carbonation with no pronounced bite, a definite warmth from the alcohol going down and residual bitter after tatse
