Great beer. Wonderfully enjoyable beer. Very fruity, refreshing. Light sourness. Nice balanced amount of sweetness. Unobtrusive alcohol. Brown-red color, medium brownish head. High in carbonation.

Dark ale. Vinous: sour and sweet. For me it’s a little too sweet, but this is a nice one to start discovering sour ales.

The beer smells tart with cherries. It looks like coke, and that might be why i think it tastes a little like coke as well? The taste contains much more fruit than just cherries though. Red sweet grapes among others. Despite the small amount of beer, it turned a little queasy in the end.

Aromas of oak, sour cherries, plum. Relatively light body with lively carbonation. Some berries and sourness in the body. Finish is slightly sweet with some sour notes. Very enjoyable.

Keg at North Bar. Reddish brown, thin beige head. Lovely tart nose, some balsamic notes, but a soft rounded red fruit flavour to balance it out. Palate is lovely and complex, red fruits, tart cherries, soft sourness, vinous notes, hint of chocolate even, and a nice soft woodiness on the finish. Amazing.

Pours a dark reddish brown from the bottle with quickly dissipating off white head and moderate lacing. Aroma is sweet, fruity malts with an odd, sour finish. Taste is oak out the gate, then a sweet middle of currants and caramel, then an interesting sour finish. Well balanced and clean, nice full mouth. My first true sour, and its very good.

0.75 oz. bottle, bought in Warsaw. First sour ale I’ve ever had if not counting a Gueuze, so didn’t know what to expect. The sour taste of it starts out as striking and then becomes strange, but very pleasant. Red-ish in colour, dark, but possible to see thorugh. A small, thin-looking head. A bit champagne-like in taste. Very interesting and good, hard to describe, tho.

Murky dark colored, with a thin head. The aroma is very sour. A friend described it as the smell of puke (which i don’t agree on). The taste itself is very sour and takes a little time to get used to. Need another bottle to try before i can make a good judgement

Yum and interesting, nice oak dry wine like finish boarding on a sour note at back of the palate. Great find and very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Murky, dark brown colour. Tan head, about one finger width thick. Very strong sour aroma with cherries and yeast. Body is somewhat weak, it’s quite thin with slight fizziness. The taste experience is strange to me. It starts kinda like a kriek but the taste vanishes almost instantly. I liked the build up but overall, I found this beer disappointing.
