POurs caramel colored with fluffy head. Flavor is perfectly balanced with equal parts creaminess and pithy citrus notes. Gorgeous brew.

Bloody nora. This is the tears of fallen angels turned into a beer. Pours amber and murky as hell with a lovely cream head. Beautiful lacing, you can almost see the unfortunate souls dressed in lace lingerie, dwelling in sin and loving every second of it. Very, very bitter. Love it.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Wittales (161) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 21, 2012
Appearance was hazy copper amber with diminishing creamy 1 finger head, no lacing. Aromas was sweet caramel malt then citrus fruits come the play, slight grass herbal spicy hops. Taste was sweet caramel backbone upfront then mild grassy hops, figs, sweet fruits, like a porter. Palate was smooth creamy carbonation with medium body. Average length slightly caulky dry friuty hop finish. If the finish was better, it could be steller...
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 LtDan (1484) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Appearance: Pours a murky amber brown with a nice foamy tan head that retains for the entire session.
Aroma: Big mango, dried pineapple, fresh cut grass, citrus essence, brown sugar.
Taste: Toasty spicy malt, a mouthful of resinous piny hops, some grapefruit. Finishes with assertive piney hop bitterness. The malt bill has a touch of dark chocolate as well.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, soda like carbonation.
Overall: A very tasty hoppy beer. More like a hoppy amber, but regardless a hit.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jimthechap (795) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 18, 2012
You know when there’s shirtloads of hops in a beer by a slight greenish tinge to the head. In this case a head that sits in a persistent carpet a finger thick on top of a hazy apricot-amber beer. The nose gives obvious spruce, resin and grapefruit peel. Plentiful carbonation in the mouth and instead of a massive flush of hoppy bitterness the first impression is that of citrus fruit: blood orange, mandarin and tangerine. There’s hops there but they’re not there to the extent that they prevent this beer from being sessionable. While there’s a good herbal grassy quality, the mouth is not turned inside out with chlorophyll. Nicely balanced I think you’d call it.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 thirstyrabbit (540) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 17, 2012
Small bottle as "Green Easter". Cloudy dark amber body with a tall steady head. Aroma has hay, citrus, pine. Dry grapefruity taste, not too sweet. More hop bitterness in the finish. Nice balance.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 doubelknv3 (751) - Illinois, USA - MAY 16, 2012
Amber orange, off white head. Floral, citrus, sweet malt aroma. Flavor same as aroma with lemon notes and mild alcohol. Balanced and medium bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 jamestulloch (102) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 14, 2012
Aroma: Toffee, cake and lemongrass. Very unusual.
Appearance: Cloudy amber body with yeast flecks. Massive beige head that lasts. Light carbonation. Sticky lacing.
Taste: Brilliantly balanced flavours: sweet, earthy malt with dry, bitter hops. A bit stuffy. Light alcohol burn.
Palate: Medium body. Gentle carbonation. Sticky mouthfeel with a dry finish.
Overall: A tasty, complex beer, but I prefer more of a fruity hop presence in an IPA.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 malrubius (1326) - Valley Stream, New York, USA - MAY 14, 2012
On tap at BGH. Muddy caramel with lasting head and lace. Bottom of the keg. Caramel very spicy hop and woody hop aroma. Toasted toffee and very spicy woody hops very dry woody hop mildly astringent bitter finish. Not much else to it. Not very good, and extremely overrated. I do not like to call beers overrated because everyone has his or her own tastes, but this one was 99% so of all the things I could have done on Saturday, I wen to BGH specifically for this beer.
