UPDATED: DEC 26, 2012 Light golden and hazy. White head. Nose got citruses, mirabelles, grass, lemon leaves, begamot, coriander and hops. Flavor is bitter-lemon with yeast and coriander. Palate is mainly incredibly grapefruit and quina bitter. Definitely a masterpiece! B@BF

2010. Pours a clear light amber colour with a frothy white head. Aroma is floral and slightly earthy with apple and citrus notes. Taste is neither overly bitter over sweet, a little bland. Smooth on the palate, light body, and softer carbonation. A decent beer overall.

Bottle shared with wyzzywyz22. Slightly hazy yellow gold with a healthy almost white head. Aroma has yeast, spice and sweetness. Flavour is similar, some alcohol strength, not bad really. Certainly drinkable, wasn’t worth the rather hefty price tag though.

Opened another bottle of these last weekend, though it was infected around the cork. Resulted in a sour beer with no foam. Smelled oké in a way, like a sour ale, but the taste was bad. So rating from memory of the previous bottles I had of this beer. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, nice stable white head. NOSE: hoppy, spices, alcohol more noticable. TASTE: very hoppy, long lasting fruitiness, some alcohol, rather sweet.

Not my favorite beer. Funky taste and aroma. Normally a big duvel fan but i will pass on it. Perhaps it sat to long.

2010 cold, corked 750ml bottle: Pours a cloudy, pale gold color with a frothy, alabaster head that leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste are of light grains with lemon/citrus and grass notes. Medium bodied and crisp, with good carbonation. Well blended; the hops are subtle and the alcohol is well hidden. Cheers, Volgon! ☆

750mL bottle, sent from robloc303 (thanks a lot, Rob), pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Nose is very oxidized bringing out mostly oxidation, Belgian yeast, and moderate spicy hops. Flavour reveals notes that are very oxidized and cardboardy, but not as bad as the nose, with mandarin oranges, Belgian yeast, spicy hops, and champagne. It’s not a disaster, but it’s way past its prime. You can tell this would be good when fresher - what a pity. Decent.

Yellow appearance with decent head. Strong hoppy citrus, lemons aroma, grassy notes. Well rounded in the mouth, overall a very good Belgian Pale Ale.

Light golden pour with tons of white head and a nice soapy looking retention. Nose of yeast, hops, and straw. Taste has a little hop bite but mostly yeast, bready malts and maybe a touch of citrus.

2010 bottle.Got it three Years ago, thanks bro. Drank the same year three years ago and Iiked it better three years ago. Don’t think it ages well. Aroma is grassy with a floral hint. appearance is a clear golden with a white head that leaves a nice lace in the glass. Taste is medium bitter with sweet malty undertone with a dry aftertaste. I can taste the high ABV 9,5%. Body is medium with a thin texture and lively carbonation
