4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Oh my word oh my word oh my word. This is so many wonderful things all at once. Pours inky black, plus nice head. Aromas are - where to start? Black cherry? Coffee? Chocolate? Bacon? Smoke? Leather? Blackberries? All that in one beer? Yes, and more - and just flat out delicious. Warming alcohol is an exclamation point. A treat.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at BlackLab, Barcelona. Pours black with brown head. Aroma of chocolate, alcohol, fruity sweet. Dark dried fruits (raisins). Nice dessert beer.

3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pitch black with light brown foam. The smell is the one of a lager with chocolate that has been open for too long. The taste is way better. Diabetes comes for free on the first sip, but at least you are not aware of how much you are torturing your liver. Chocolate and very little coffee as well. Dangerously easy to drink.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours jet black with a lasting tan head and had some mild lacing. Aroma was rich and intense with chocolate, caramel, coffee, vanilla, roasted malts and dark fruit. Flavor was rather sweet and complex with caramel, roasted coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, cherries, dark fruit and brown sugar. sticky texture, medium full body, low carbonation. awesome baltic porter

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Lite väl sött men annars riktigt gott.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. Very dark brown with some sledge. Very sweet malty aroma of dried fruits and dessert wines. Taste is similar - dominated by maltiness with dried plums reisin. Some alcohol is here medium high to full body. Overll excellent baltic porter.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
I said to my lovely girlfriend "Ummmm...my god....come be a part of this beer". She came in, sniffed curiously, took a sip and after a few deliciously girly coos and cahs said "I think that is my favourite beer I have ever had". And that folks, is the way she goes. I could go on about how it looks but I’d rather make it clear that I now feel like a dumb-dumb for having only got two bottles, one for now and one to cellar. The flavour is so damned wonderful that I don’t even feel like writing about all of the nuance about it. If you like fine, strong, scrumptious, roasty, dark beers and you are financially solvent and have access to an area that hovers around 10 degrees Celsius, do yourself a solid. Buy a case or two.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is my perfect beer. Pours inky-black with a thin brown lace. Excellent mouthfeel and a medium-heavy body but without any syrupy consistency. Tastes of chocolate, cherries, brandy, almonds, sherry, molasses and strawberries, with a sweet though not cloying aftertaste. Well-balanced sweetness that doesn’t feel sugary or overpowering. Good medium-light fizziness, not overcarbonated, and a smooth mouthfeel.
Fantastic beer, one of the best porters in the world!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour is jet black with a reddish cap that sticks around for a bit and leaves some light lace. Nose is chocolate, dark cherries, molasses, vanilla, caramel, light coffee, wood and smoke. Taste is unabashedly sweet, yet somehow not heavy, and not at all cloying. It’s all chocolate and cherries and molasses, with a perfect balance of roasted malt bitterness on the finish. Alcohol is there for a bit of warmth, but otherwise so well-masked. Texture is pure velvet. It’s definitely intense, definitely a slow sipper, but it goes down so damn smooth. Epic stuff.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Basically perfect, rich velvety palate, fruity, chocolatey, a touch of coffee. Complex beer that really evokes "baltic porter" rather than just "imperial stout with a different name."
