Blanche du Paradis is a Belgian-style Wit brewed with coriander seeds and Curaçao orange peels, the spices traditionnally found in this classic style. Unfiltered and containing almost as much raw wheat as malted barley, it presents a veil of yeast and proteins giving this style its "Blanche" name. Round and light at the same time, it exhales fresh baked bread aromas, and reveals spices and citrus flavours, accompanied by subtle notes of acidity coming from the wheat.

A beautiful wheat beer...citrus off the top with a bit of citrus too. Medium body with some light bubblegum in the finish...smooth with tiny bubbles of light carbonation.

Pours straw with amber flickers and a sudsy afterthought of a head. Aroma is bread, coriander and some lemon. Standard wit territory but blended evenly. Palate is light despite ample carbonation. A little watery in the finish. Taste is more yeast, spices with light lemon refreshment. Also some earthy notes. A light soapy yeast finish

Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. The aroma has cream, pale smooth wheat, banana, orange and heavy coriander. It has a light crisp clean body with soft carbonation and a smooth finish. The flavor starts clean and spicy with light orange, crisp wheat and lots of coriander. The finish is very dry for the style and has some phenolic spices and sulfur. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

2014 bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light straw color with a small white head. Aroma is bready and grainy with an herbal spiciness and a little citrus. Taste follows the smell with the graininess being more pronounced. Coriander and a little peppery spice. A little sweet orange. Little bitterness. A soft, semi-dry mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from State Line. Pours hazy golden with frothy off-white head. Nose is orange zest, lime, white peppery and coriandery spice, pale malt, funk, yeast, great complexity in the nose. Tastes of limey citrus, coriandery spice, white pepper, yeasty pale malt, with a crisp and citric finish. This is a great witbier.

Very solid and typical interpretation of the style, orange peel sweetness, hints of a spicy graininess, light and easy to drink, really a great beer all-around.

Fiche technique : Style: Witbier Format: 341 ml Taux d’alcool : 5,5%

Bottle purchased at Aficionado’s. Pours clear gold with a thick white head. Aroma of grainy malt, actually smells just like the mashing process, along with slight herbal notes. Grainy malt flavor with herbs and citrus before a dry finish.
