COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Vintage 2005"
Our PGR has aged for 24 months on oak barrels and has been bottled for the first time on the 27th of December 2007. The main difference with the Pannepot Reserva is that PGR matured the last ten months on Calvados oak barrels, adding extra complexity to the beer. We dedicate this beer as a tribute to Jeppe & Michael of Ølbutikken in Denmark. Those gentlemen were the first to discover our beers on an International basis back in 2004 and are responsable somehow for our beers being all over the globe since then. As a token of gratitude towards Jeppe & Michael, the first shipment of PGR was scheduled to Ølbutikken so they could be the first to launch its commercialisation.

Dark twilight brown, thin tan cusp. Greasy, brassy oak and licks of plum and tinselly oak. Lean brassy, husks of wholemeal soaked in soft balsamic and light caramel flurry. Bit thinner than the previous two stages, but finishes longer brassy and resonating appley tannin with a slushy oak linger. 2010 Vintage. 4.0

Hazier, neater crust of a head. The nose is incredible, baked apple and rustic vingear. Crusty burnt bakewell tart, roasted oak and licks of righteous, hearty mulched apple. Why is this so much more calvadossy than the 5 year younger version! Thinner, no doubt, but a few drops more sweetness on the finish. Linger is bullish and vinious.

Flaske 330ml. Gave fra Rune. Svart. Høyt mokkafaget skum som faller raskt sammen. Forsiktig sjokoladearoma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken rosiner & svisker. Bra - men lite variasjon. Alkoholen brukbart kamuflert. Litt bunnfall.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2015 Deep dark pour, almost impenetrable, small tan head. Very inviting aromas of port wine, raisins, oak, leather. The taste is really one to savour - sweet port wine, raisins, dates, plums, with oak tannins and a light smokiness helping to balance the sweetness. Nice warming alcohol. The body is lighter than expected but is probably a good thing, as it helps the sweetness avoid becoming cloying. This is just as memorable and enjoyable as the standard Pannepot. Incredible.

Bottle, 2010 vintage, bottled 2014. Pours black with a cream head. Aroma: wood, prunes, raisins, apples, clove, nutmeg, dates. Taste follows with caramel, syrup, cinnamon, touch of roast. Sweet, but not cloying, nice complementing bitterness, creamy texture, full body, soft carbonation. Lasting finish. Lovely, lovely.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Malty and light spicy, chocoalte, with oak aromas, vanilla. Similar taste. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Very nice beer. I love the original and this is just as good.

Bottle shared with daje, edvard and Simonsen at The "Esp0r #2000 Weekend in The Woods" 2014
Dark brown, tanned creamy head. Smell of raisins, dark fruits, toffee, hints of toast, red wine and oak. Moderate sweet, port and other vinous characters, hints of funk, raisins and prunes, dark rich fruity malts, totally quite exequite. Moderate bitter, earthy hops. Very nice, though i have to say the regular Pannepot is better

Opis wersji "podstawowej": Butelka, 2014. Aromaty bardzo bogate, karmel, ciemne owoce (sliwki, wisnie, banany), suszone owoce (rodzynki, sliwki suszone), przyprawowosc dosc nienarzucajaca sie, zbozowosc, slodowosc, kawa, nawet czekoladowo-kakaowe nuty. Alkohol praktycznie niewyczuwalny. Smak analogiczny - wszystko to czuc. Praktycznie brak goryczki. lekkie rozgrzewanie gardla od alkoholu. dlugie, owocowe, kwaskowate posmaki (jedyny zarzut ktory mi wpada do glowy - zbyt kwaskowate). W ustach pelne, niesamowicie kremowe, gladkie.

W ustach wydaje sie wrecz lzejsze,,, Niezwykle bogate i zbalansowane. Trudno mi byloby wybrac pomiedzy nimi - oba sa wyraznie lepsze od skadinad wszak tez doskonalej wersji Reserva.

330ml bottle 2010 vintage from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours opaque black with menacing beige head. Aroma is light cocoa and liquorice, continuing to the taste with caramel, cocoa and light liquorice nudging in. Exceedingly drinkable with a soft complexity but impressively well balanced.

Bottiglia vintage 2010.

33cl bottle, vintage 2010. Near black in color, thin brown head. Chocolate first, then caramel sweetness, dark fruits, plum marmalade. Delicate aroma. Flavor has sweetness, syrup, dark fruits, plums, hops. Iicorice in finish. Nicely balanced. Sweet, but not sticky. So enjoyable, nice sipper. Sweetness hides the alcohol completely.
