750 ml bottle shared by Drew. Thanks! Been after this forever! Pours a rich ruby copper hazy pour, well hazed with a frothy whitish head atop, sticks around, laces well. A healthy appealing glow. Aromas are rich oak and sour fruits, red and white wine mingle, lemons and lactic acid, touches of grape and raspberries, melons and chardonnay, with . Touch of cherry, blackberry, lemons. Funky straw, horseblanket and brett mingle. Red wine and oak seems to overtake a bit, sour and pungent, really inviting. Sour and heavenly. Initial is lighter bodied, offering healthy tannins up front, sour berries and touch of cherries, with red wine and oak, gentle funky brett, a touch of cheesiness, lemons and lactic acid mingle. Touch of brett grows, dry and funky, some gentle earth. Red wine barrel kisses, citrus, lively sourness, but nothing overbearing and not acidic. Middle is softer sourness, fruit and citrus, raspberries, grapes, and blackberry. Red wine tannins. Finish shows berries, nice sourness, some lingering funk, touches of bread and flaked wheat beneath. A masterpiece, truly. Softened and flavorful, sour and a melange of fruit, yet nothing overbearing. Proper barrel, touches of red wine, some cheese, and dry funky brett. Really just great, heavenly.

750 ml bottle pour. Amberish murky color with a light head. Great funky sourness of fruits. Well balanced but complex. Great wild ale.

Purchased as a group for our Halloween whale tasting. A murky brownish orange in color. Kind of resembles apple cider in all honesty. There is about a half fingers worth of off-white head on the pour. Nose is lemon, sweet tart/smarties (similar to Cascade Apricot), some white grape, peach, brett, and some mustiness. A lot of the same themes as the nose. Lemon, some major musty sour funk, white grape, peach, and brett. Good carbonation with a medium body and a good finish. Worthy of the hype. It might not be my favorite American wild, but it’s damn close. Only real flaw of the beer was its appearance.

Sample from bottle, kindly donated by US BBF 2011 visitors. Orange color, cloudy. Toffee, lemon, grapefruit and oak in the aroma. Sour lemony flavor, limoncello. Amazingly complex beer, hard to get all the flavors and aromas.

Bottle shared at Borefts 2011 by hannont and co, thanks! Pours cloudy amber with a small pale head. Aroma is sour with a hint of oak and citrus. Taste is sour candy, citric acid. Quite tart but tasty and pretty well balanced.

Deviation. Yes good on aroma. But better on finish. Authentic funk on finish. Yes lemon and wood. Preety decent but lacks real authenticity.. Bit too lemon squash. Tasty but too much lemon. 3.7
