2009 Bottle pours cloudy gold with foamy white head. Aromas of bread, orange, clover, fruity esters, floral, pepper. Moderately bitter and sweet. Body is smooth with a hint of acidity. The fruity esters really distinguishes this from other beers of the same style. This is the apogee of a belgian triple. Not sure what it tastes like fresh, but they nailed it when this stuff is aged for a few years.

Belgian yeast, hops, sweet fruit.

Golden/yellow beer with a huge white head thanks to all the carbonation.

The foam tastes like fruit juice and that’s not even the beer itself. Starts sweet with a mix of everything mentioned in the aroma. Really juicy and fruity, amazing.

Hazy yellow with no head. Aroma of tangerine. Taste is very sweet, too much sugar. Still citric and malty. But too sweet. Not my style.

This is a really nice one, reminds me of a Tripel, 750 ml. bottle, 2013 vintage. Pour is hazy gold with a medium, dense white head that leaves thick lacing. Aroma of pear, apricot, herbs, and honey. Balanced flavor, on the dry side, earthy hops, fruity, light bitterness, refreshing despite high alcohol. Medium to full body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, balanced finish. I like this one a lot better than the blue version, which is too sweet and syrupy. "Served with pride, it is drunken with respect."

Bottle from 2014. Drunken pears! Pours a bright, golden copper colour with a steady carbonation and a thin but dense off white head. Tons of alcohol legs on the glass. The nose is estery and floral with tons of pear and apple fruit notes, sugary malt notes, light lemon zest and a richly complex nose overall. Heavy body, tons of fruit and ester notes, mild earthy notes, white raisins, no hop bitterness. Rich and complex with a warm slightly dry finish.
