Bottle, 13 April 2011. Pours clear deep reddish brown with a large creamy brown head that diminishes slowly and leaves great, thick lacing in its wake. Aroma is strong dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, kahlua, molasses. Flavor is quite sweet, all of the above plus a bit of sprucy hops leading to a light bitter, warming alcoholic finish. Full bodied and thick. Very very good.

Hell and Temptation is a nice RIS, but for me the taste is too bitter and too much of a "cigar bag" taste

330 ml bottle rescued from the LCBO clearance shelf. Bottled Nov 8 2012 (23 months ago). Pours pitch black with small mocha head, on a very aggressive pour. Nose is coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, cherries, some booze. Low carbonation, creamy/sticky mouthfeel. Taste: cocoa, vanilla, sweet cherry, coffee, cola, licorice.Very easy sipping. Short-medium finish. The bitterness others mentioned is not present in this 2-year old bottle.
