Poured from 330mL bottle. Dark brown - near black with small tan head. Lots of chocolate, a bit of roast, some mild soy. Well balanced, slightly ashy, alcohol is quite noticeable on the nose, but mild on the taste.

Flawless! The aroma is caramel and coffee, with a hint of vanilla. It pours pure black with almost no head. You can feel the oily texture while pouring it into a glass. The taste is extremely strong and dry, with cocoa and coffee flavor, which balances the beer. The label says it can be kept for 25 years, I doubt it, but would keep some myself anyways.

kran w jabeerwocky. Wszystko jak najbardziej na swoim miejscu, zgodnie z oczekiwaniami. Czekolada, pralinki, sliwki w czekoladzie, whiski (dosc intensywne), drewno, kawa, suszone owoce, slodycz waniliowa, winne nutki. Malo palonosci. Niska dosc goryczka (ale jej role przejal alkohol wyczuwalny i rozgrzewajacy) Ladnie ulozone. Rozgrzewajace. geste. duzo ciala. srednie+ wysycenie. Klasa.

Стандар& хороший, но банальн& имперск& стаут. Тут нет никаких заворот& поворот& только классик& - даже помногу, но мужчина всегда сверху.

(On tap @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Oct 30 2015) Pours black with a small but persistent pale tan head and no lace. Aroma has loads of fairly hard, slightly ashy roast, coffee grinds, dark malts, a bit of molasses, with hints of cacao, vanilla and dried fruits. Flavour is quite dry and roast-centric, surrounding a sweet dark malt core with burnt sugar notes and a little dark fruit. Really all about the roast though, not smoky or too ashy but pervasive, with coffee bean and unsweetened cocoa and a vaguely woody note. Finish is bone dry, dusty and moderately bitter with persistent earthy roast notes and a little sweet malt core for balance. No alcohol. Medium full, slightly viscous and creamy, very soft carb, feels great. Love the balance in this bad boy, it’s dry but not harsh, oxidized or acidic despite all the roast. Supreme take on a more traditional English imperial stout. Great sipper.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours pitch black with medium soapy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and dried fruits. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt and chocolate, follows by dried fruits and licorice with warming mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Damn good, smooth and easy drinking...
