COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There’s plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. It’s powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise, it’s our favourite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by the other sex. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Huge beer.

A true contender for the title of Best Beer In The World--its muscular strength carrying a boatload of resonant fruity, herbal and malty flavors. Only complaint is that you can’t find it in every nightshop or 7-11.

Red wax 33cl bottle. Bottled on Aug 2011, poured into a tulip glass. Pours thick amber with nearly no head. Nose is hard to pin down, fruity, grapes, port, very complex. Taste is sweet! Almost like a tawny port. Not much carbonation, very syrupy. Well done, but I would imagine a few years would do this beer some good.

.33l bottle from Only Good Beer in Budapest, from August 2011. Already huge and mellow, minimal soapy head on rich clean brown-red cider body. Huge wafts of fruit, pear and grape, and rich alcohol. some tart hops too. Huge body, coating and but also dry. fruit, wine and cider. hop balance is impressive, perhaps too bitter in the end, certainly a bit alc-forward.Big and strong, not my favorite in the end, perhaps more age on this will mellow in the right direction.

Hi, I bought this beer in April 2012, it was brewed & bottled in Nov 2009. I would like to keep it for 10-15 years. I’m interested if or how time will change the taste and the low carbonation that everyone is talking about. Cheers.

Bottle @ home pours Hazy amber with a small yellowish head the aromas are yeast orange and caramel and a note of lemon flavor is heavy sweet orange yeast some hop bitterness and alcohol in the finish leaves you with a spicy alcoholic aftertaste body is medium to full carbonation is soft texture is sticky nice one but to sweet for my tastes

Pour out of 330 mL is dark brownish red with thin off white head, aroma brought big dark fruits, chocolate, hints of caramel, toffee and vanilla, hints of grass, slight earthy tones, big and rich, slight hint of booze with a orange and citrus note but really not bad. Tate is a mix of caramel, toffee, slight booze and heat but nice fruity notes, dark fruits with raisin, figs, hints of caramelized sugars, finishing fairly sweet.

330ml bottle. Pours a deep amber, with a thin white head. Quite mature aromas, dried fruits, tobacco, walnuts, marzipan, caramel, fudge, hops. Sweet, full bodied, medium bitterness, low CO2. Complex, mature taste, lots of dried fruits, apricots, figs, marzipan, caramel, fudge, orange peel. Really nice, will develop more with further ageing. (2012-04-16)

Bottle. No head or carbonation. Light brown. Sherry like taste of raisins and ploms. Quite sweet. Heavy body. Just not my type of brew to be so complex sweetness.

Bottle 355, batch 429. Pours dark brown, with a reddish hue, and with almost no head whatsoever. Aroma is heavily on the fruity side, with a lot of plums, oak barrels, chocolate and notes of strawberries. Flavour is likewise very fruity, with caramel malts some oakiness and a light alcoholic sweetness. A good brew, but some years up ahead it will most probably be splendid.
