COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“a stout of great contention” We are not the harbingers of truth as some may suggest but it may indeed be argued that our brewing philosophy is tantamount to a dessert with a bellicose past. How, you may ask, would a brewery determine a likeness to hard-coated custard? Our response is simple; it’s all in the power of history, and of course, the extra finesse needed to top off a contentious treat with definition.

By comprehending the labyrinthine movement of time, one would not think it strange to trace the errant path of an ordinary object such as a cream dessert only to discover that it has been the cause of cultural disputes since the middle ages. The British founders of burnt cream and from Spain, crema catalana, both stand by their creative originality and we respect that, but it was the French Crčme Brűlée, amid the strife of contention, that survived to represent our deliciously creamy brew. 9.6% abv • 25ş plato • 195ş L • 22 oz / 1/6 keg 2-row pale malt / dark caramel malt / vanilla bean / lactose sugar / kettle hops: columbus / aroma hops: horizon

Bomber served in a Duvel tulip. Pours a opaque black with a finger of tan head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is vanilla up front. It literally is there from 2 feet away on my table. There is cocoa, caramel, chocolate, coffee, brown sugar, cane sugar, and more sweetness. It literally smells like creme brulee. It gets a 10, not because I love creme brulee, but because It so accurately is what it describes. Flavor is vanilla, cocoa, semisweet chocolate, sweet cream, some coffee, a little roasted malt, and a touch of hop bitterness in the back. Mouthfeel is creamy and alcohol well hidden. This is the ultimate dessert beer. Amazing.

Fľaša, Tmavá čierna farba, nahnedlá pena, rýchlo padla. Vôňa úúúúžasná! Vanilková zmrzlina, vaječný likér. Chuť krásna, jemne sladká, začína to vaječným likérom, postupuje jemným kapučínom a končí vanilkovou zmrzlinou. Je to úžasné pivo so stredným telom, vyššou nasýtenosťou a úžasne dlhou dochuťou. Dlho som nič lepšie nepil. Díky Cuso!

Bottle from Asahiya or CBB. I thought I’d rated this a long time ago... anyways, this dessert beer poured a dark inky black with a tan head. The aroma was of a lush freshly baked creme brule. The taste had a bit more of a stout quality to the creme brule and it was exceptionally sweet. It pairs very well with vanilla ice cream, cheesecake and other sweets. Trying to drink a whole bomber in one shot has me thinking it would get exceptionally cloying over time. All in all a well made dessert beer.
