| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Pours golden amber, apparently thick with uneventful carbonation under a thick, creamy and holding yellowhite head. Even after aging close to a year, the hop nose is rife with citrus and pine with only some low dishwater notes beneath to detract. Mmmmm... a rather harsh and pungent pine bitterness to the flavor is carried by a weighty body which, when conjoined with its astringent palate, prolongs said bitterness long after the swallow. While I like a good IPA, this is actually a bit over the top for me to drink an entire bomber (almost like a DIPA), but you hop-heads will be head over heels. ~~~~~~~~ Purchased July 2008 at FSRB, consumed June 2009.

Légère amertume d’houblons en arrière goût. (Rating #2420) MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 24, 2009 My Bottom Line:
The diligent hoppiness of this masterful India Pale Ale develops citrusy, resinous and piney melodies that lull toasted and honeyed malts into a state of wellbeing rarely seen in my neck of the beer woods.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the misty amber.
-Balance is achieved throughout even though the Columbus
-The mouthfeel is a cushion of which the tongue relaxes instantly.
-These guys really know how to brew flavorful IPAs!

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Bottle, from trade with GeneralGao ,blue wax bottle. Good aroma, bitter sweet. Yeasty, grapefruit, floral notes, little grainy, little date, little harsh. Cloudy brownish orange color, ok head, good lace. Bitter flavor, citrus, grapefruit mainly, Medium body, smooth creamy mouth feel, bitter dry finish. Tasty brew, I liked aroma a little more than flavor, flavor had a little astringent streak about it that was a turn off, but not a major detraction. Swolf3 (253), Elkton, Maryland, USA

| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jan 14, 2009 Blue-waxed 650 ml, big thanks to General Gao! Translucent orange-copper with a small, fleeting head even on a hard pour - excellent. Aroma is honey and brown sugar-covered peach, grapefruit, and orange. Flavor is earthy peach, honey, sodden oak, resin, tangelo and tea leaf. Despite the lack of big foam, some beautiful soapy-drippy lacing followed me all the way down the glass. Near-medium body is nicely watery, smoothly carbonated, hop-tingly and dry.
