4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle at Sean and Rushes, Leicester. Pours cloudy yellow, with a ring of froth. Smells beautiful: lemon, wheat, Belgo yeastiness. Taste is beautifully dry; packed with lemon, which squelches; pockets of pin-prick sweetness. Beautiful mouthfeel. A delightful beer. Really tremendous.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled in December of 2013 and just now hitting shelves in Colorado? - what the hell? - of course I did not notice this until after buying it - oh well - at leasts it has actuall held up pretty well - turbid gold - head’s a little fizzy - nose of pale Belgian malts and a lot of juicy citrus character, as well as some spicy phenolics - soft, pleasant malt character - well-hidden alcohol - medium sweet, but with a light, balancing acidity late, leading to a moderately bitter, floral finish, with some dry, earthy, lightly dusty phenols - there is a touch of noticeable oxidation that definitely lessens the enjoyment - fresh this would probably be in the mid fours for me

33cl @ bottle. Tripel belga particolare, non mi ha convinto del tutto. Retrogusto troppo amarognolo.
