COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Pale malt; Roasted barley; Oats; Washington Galena, Worcester Fuggles and Kent Goldings hops.
A superb, rich, full-bodied beer derived from a 1970s homebrewing recipe. Wickedly smooth chocolate dominates the flavour, which is nicely balanced by the bitterness of the hops.

Pours very dark with a light head soon gone. Aroma is of dark roast malts. Big flavours of liquorice and chocolate. Sweetnrss from the strength balanced by bitterness and leading to a long bittersweet finish. Top stuff.

At just on cool and into a snifter. Black, opaque and oily looking with a fleeting tannish foam. Tarrish, smoky, burnt bacon, Biltong and leather over layers of powdery cocoa, Marmite, kecap manis and salty kelp is the waft from the glass, interesting! Dry, pasty, smooth and powdery in the mouth. Quite smoky and ashen in taste, a lot of that smoked meat of the aroma plays in the mouth, draws on the saliva glands well with roasted coffee beans and dark bitter chocolate. Very peppery, spicy in tail and in the swallow which holds a nice level bitterness of malt and hops. Heavily roasted malts make up the most, it is deliciously flavoured, sultry even, but hard to place. The body is not big, but it is impressive in mouthfeel. Long dry, smoky aftertaste just conditions the palate. This is an impressive Porter. So smoky it could topple a good German Rauchbier. Yum! (33cL, BBE 01/13, 1st Choice Liquor, Midland)

Altamente espessa e densa, esta cerveja faz jus ao nome que leva. Apesar de ser um pouco viscosa o sabor achocolatado/acafeinado com um retrogosto equilibradamente amargo estão bem presentes, o que garante grande identidade única para a bebida.

Pours thick and black. No light through the glass. Thick Reddish-tan head. Smells slightly of chocolate and is malty with hints of chocolate and vanilla on the tongue. Leaves you wanting the next sip. A fantastic, thick, full flavored beer that is easy to drink.

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Ultradyprød - egentlig svart. Høyt kremaktig skum med litt farge som varer lenge & fester seg til glasset. God sjokolade / lakrisaroma. Myk munnfølelse. "Lett" sjokolade / kaffesmak. Lite bitterhet. KI=5
