[5702-20130817] Bottle. Yeasty fruity peach aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange body with a quick bubbly head. Peach-infused sour yeast flavour. Medium body is pretty sour. Good, but not as sour as its brothers. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7

2013 Vintage 750 w/ 5 friends
A - hazy light yellow appearance. no head (typical with upland beers)
S - Smells like incredibly acidic peach and kiwi juice
T - ....just a guess, this is gonna have the mouthfeel of 7up and taste like vinegar. Letís see! YEP! jesus OMFG I hate these beers so much! why do they do this? Stop making warhead sour candies into my freaking beer.
M - dry and thin
O - Letís just get this straight. You are in Indiana brewing "lambic" and you decide to make a super acidic, balsamic vinegar oaky warhead candy sour beer and then add peaches to it? gross. stop doing this Upland. Iíve had like 8 of your "Lambics" so far. theyíre all terrible. Just stop.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Murky, swampy sunburst orange with an opaque bottom & semi-translucent top; the white head fizzles out almost instantly to a meek collar. Aroma loaded with super sour lactic acid notes, acetic peach skin, mild juicy peach flesh, apricot, tart lemon, hefty yogurt, & a solid overcast of lightly musty, sweatsock funk with a bit of damp hay. Taking a sip is like biting into a lemon. Sour, acidic, puckering, & juicy all at once. Peach, lemon, yogurt, apricot, lacto, a touch of funky hay, & a huge vinegar finish. Lingering peach skin, lactic acid, & vinegar that dries out your palate like the Mojave. This is a pretty great example of an American attempt at a fruited lambic.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle; Pour is murky gold with a frothy white head initial - It retains on the average / below average I suppose. Anyway - Iím getting used to these Upland lambics as a member this year but frankly - this last iteration of Peach really stuck out for me - Firstly - it meshes very well with the base beer ,naturally - not quite as well as Persimmon but it is nice. What really stuck out was the finish line - This beer has an amazing lush peach note at the end that really impressed me (as a peach fan in fruit form, however).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by Brandon, thanks! Pour is cloudy light orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy with a dry tartness and light balloon. Flavor is really tart in two waves. First wave is tart with light herbal notes followed by a second very very tart wave. Long lightly tart peach in the finish. Really sour but clean. Nice.

>> Thanks to the 38 Degrees/Full Pint tasting group. Murky straw pour, white peach juice, low foam. Juicy peach cobbler nose with small white vinegar. Taste is highly citric, very sour. Low acetic heat finish with mega lemon. Drinkable, but a bit one note.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of light funkiness, some sour notes, a lot of peaches, some pale malts, light oak, and some other light fruits. Flavor the same with a lot of peaches and a very sour finish. Average texture. A very sour and cool beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2014 From cpetrone-thanks, Chris! 12-11-13 bottling date. Hey-Thatís the night my wife went in to labor with our 2nd! Cloudy straw orange with peach floaters...seriously. Great nose of horse blanket, stone fruit, lemon. Quite tart, but some juicy sweet peach lurking...peach becomes very pronounced as it warms, but ultimately a bit too tart. Wondering if I will finish splitting this two ways. Four would have been better. Great peach expression but a bit out of balance.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at a STL tasting - Pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma has lots of peach that is lush and fleshy along with some sharp sourness. It has a medium / light body that is quite crisp and has lively carbonation. The taste starts off with heavy vinegar sourness, rich peaches and spice/pepper. The finish is crisp and lively. Really nice.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle thanks to Phil. Pours a cloudu orange with small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong peach, funk, oak. Thin mouthfeel with nice tart peach, light funk, and very nice sour finish. Easy to drink, very impressive.
