Previously 13% abv, 11% abv from 2014->. Black Albert was used in a new barrel aging project. More than a year ago, Carlo was able to get his hands on a stock of Four Roses Bourbon barrels, and we happily filled them up with Batch „0". This unique creation was originally to be named 4 Black Roses in honour of its heritage, but our friends in Kentucky strongly advised us not to do so! What to do? As the disowned offspring of Black Albert, the name Cuvée Delphine imposed itself. Savouring the Belgian irony, we are most honoured to have artwork by Delphine Boël shining on this label. You will not find this ale all over the globe. There is no export program, but we will try to provide stock through our web shop and some specialty beer pubs.

Bottle 33cl. Small noisy dark brown head. Opaque color with a heavy body. Aroma is leather, sugar, alcohol, forest berries liqeur, wet moss, plastic, correction fluid, chocolate. Taste is of sweet strong chocolate liqeur giving a good flush for the palate.

Deep black colour with a medium brown head. Aroma has coffee, chocolate, licorice, bourbon. Taste has the same as smell but it is much more complex with the hops doing a balancing act. This is one of the best beer i’ve ever had.

deep brown, almost black colour, surprisingly huge, quite stable, cream brown head; aroma of dried plum, raisin, cocoa, roasted coffee, some ash, whisky, herbal liqueur and hints of vanilla; taste of dried fruits, dark chocolate, whisky, vanilla, and spicy alcohol; excellent Imperial Stout

33cl bottle. Deep black colour with a very thin brown head. Bitter chocolate, liquorice, dark fruits, light roasted and of course bourbon on the aroma. Taste is balanced with such a complexity that is difficult to describe. Overall, a fantastic beer.

Bottle, 33cl. Wonderful aroma! I can’t stop smelling this. Dried fruits, plum, chocolate. Very well balanced. Taste corresponds well with aroma. Thin line of light brown, creamy foam around the edge.

Pours a deep shade of brown with a great brown, moussey head which lingers around. Aroma is figs, liquorice, bourbon. Taste is sweet bourbon at first, followed by sharp coffee and roast malts. Slight leather in there too. Full bodied with a thick mouthfeel.

In bottiglia. Edizione Vintage 2012.

CONCLUSION : que dire ?
